THIRD YEAR OF NEONARA MUSIC FESTIVAL POLARIS RIDER, HALYX HEADLINE
April 15, 2015 - Albany, NY - After immense success during its first two years, Papageno Productions and Sekirou Events are delighted to announce that NeoNara Music Festival, dubbed "NeoNara 3," will be held the weekend of August 14-16, 2015 at the Sperry Music Arena and surrounding areas.
"This year, we're taking NeoNara to even greater heights," Jennie Jones, Assistant Head of Operations at Papageno Productions, says. "We have more acts, more art installations, more fair rides, and more space at every stage. We'll be able to increase the amount of people coming through, and for the first time, we are selling day passes for those who do not want to stay all weekend."
Coming back this year for the second time is global EDM superstar Polaris Rider, fresh off her Grammy Award winning album Back To Basics. "We had such a fun time playing NeoNara last time, we thought, why not visit again?" says Rider. "We'll have a whole new setlist, and we're going to be bringing back the Rainbow Connection, with a few added elements. It will be unlike anything anyone's seen at my sets."
Orlando, Florida based space rock band Halyx is also scheduled as a headliner, as well as visual kei band Sharpay Kitsch and NYC-based punk band Waeng. More acts will be added as the festival gets closer; please check neonara.music.id for updates.
The event will be held at and around Sperry Music Arena, with two extra stages set up for simultaneous performances. The nearby Rensselaer Campgrounds will be used as lodging; a space can be reserved with tickets, as well as all-access and dining passes. RV hookups can be ordered with an additional fee. Single-day tickets do not include lodging. A government-issued ID will be required for each attendee this year and must be shown at the front gate for admission.
