Felix's POV

A few weeks has passed since the day Seoyul and I sort of fought. I already removed all my casts and I'm just resting in the hospital for now.

" We're going to do another scan. " I nodded as I walked over to the scanning room, limping slightly.

" Just close your eyes and relax. " I nodded and she rushed out of the room.

The machine got activated and it started saying something in Korean before it came to a stop and the nurse came back in. " You can return to your ward now. Doctor Park will be speaking to you later. " I nodded.

I went back into my ward and I sat on the bed. I can't help but to rethink about what Seoyul said before she left.

" This is why there's no one around you, not because no one care about you but because you pushed everyone who tried to care away. "

The reason why I dropped out of school previously was to make my parents know that they can't control me and my life.

The more they want me to study, the more I wouldn't. The more they want me to be perfect student, the more I want to defy them.

I was unhappy that they didn't support me and chose to send me away. I felt that going against what they wanted me to do would make them realised, forcing me isn't a good choice.

Just then, my thought was interrupted by a knock of the door. " Hello Felix. " Doctor Park came in with a report and a scan of my limbs.

" Let me cut to the chase. Your limbs are recovering well, in fact, it's almost fully recovered. You can be discharge tomorrow but I will need you to do some stretches and come back for checkup. " He looked up at me with a smile.

I nodded slightly, before I spoke, " Why did you become a doctor? "

He was rather taken aback, " Because it's my dream. " He replied as he chuckled while looking through my report.

" What would you do if your parents want you to be, let's say, a lawyer instead? " He smiled.

" I would study really hard to be a doctor. To show them that I did what they wanted me to do as a student, which is to do well in my studies because it would gain their trust in me. " I pursed my lips.

He chuckled, " What's your dream? "

" Songwriter. " I replied and he nod.

I scoffed, " You're definitely looking down on me. " He shook his head as he crossed his arms.

" Not at all. Instead, I find you cool. " I looked over at him and he grinned.

Just then, his walkie talkie produced a sound for him to go attend to another patient. " I got to go now. " He was walking out when he stopped and turned towards me.

" Remember to chase your dream. I'll be rooting for you! "

Seoyul's POV

I laid my head on my desk, " You don't have to go to the hospital anymore? You've been staying back in school for the past few weeks. " I glared at her.

" Don't even talk to me about it. " I scoffed.

Haru teased me, " Did you fell out with your hospital boy? " She wriggled her brows and I sat up, glaring hard at her.

" Fine, fine. I'll stop teasing you. Are you really okay though? " I nodded as I looked over at my textbook that's covered in highlights.
