Felix's POV

" Why are you here again? " I sneered when I saw the same man from before walking in. This time, he brought a woman with him and that's my birth giver.

She rushed over to me, " Oh my god, Felix! " Tears streamed down her face as she saw my current state.

I scoffed, " Where were you when he chased me out of the house? " I turned my face away from her as she sat down on my bed.

I eyed her, " Who said you can sit on a patient's bed? " She stood up, causing the man to raise his voice at me.

" Felix Lee! Regardless of the past, we're still your parents! Without us, you wouldn't be here! Show us the basic respect! " He screamed and I laughed hysterically.

I laughed while staring at them, " Hold up so am I supposed to thank the both of you now? I would gladly reject that offer. " I shot them a forced smile.

" Felix, we did that for your own good. " I laughed even harder when I heard my birth giver saying that. I laughed so hard that my rib are hurting.

" My own good? Did you ask for my opinion before making any arrangements on my behalf? You freaking made a 13 year old boy moved to Korea by himself without his family! Alone! " I raised my voice.

They were taken aback by my sudden outburst. I took a deep breath, " I told the both of you that I don't need to rely on you guys to get to where I want to be. " I said.

" We still haven't spoken to you about you dropping out of school! How dare you disrespect us! " The man screamed and I chuckled.

" Disrespect you? Oh, so now the abandoned boy have to respect the people who abandoned him? Does that make sense to you? Because it doesn't make any sense to me. " My birth giver started bawling her eyes out.

Tears welled up in the man's eyes. " I know what we did was ruthless but it was really for your own good. We wanted you to be independent. "

If my arms aren't in a cast, I would have slammed the table by now.

I took a deep breath as I looked away from them. " I don't think we should keep in contact anymore. We're not on the same page and I don't think we ever will. Please leave now. " I said.

" Felix. " They called out to me as I closed my eyes, turning my face away from them.

I could hear my birth giver's unwillingness to leave but eventually, they left anyways.

Tears rolled down my cheeks.

Seoyul's POV

" Isn't that Felix's room? " I furrowed my brows as I saw two well-dressed adults walking out from his ward. The both of them don't look too well.

My heart started pounding against my chest as I rushed over to his ward. I harshly pulled opened the door as I stared at him.

I blinked a few times, " I said leave! " He screamed which caught me by surprised.

I gulped, " I-I'm sorry. That wasn't meant for you. " His facial expression softened when he released he screamed at me.

I closed the door behind me as I walked over to his table to place his food there. " I thought something happened to you when I saw people walking out of here crying. " I said as I unpacked his food.

" Who are they? " I asked.

It was a moment of silence.

I looked over at him, " Felix? " He kept quiet and I chose to shut up instead.

" Look, I brought noodles soup today. " I grinned as I brought the food over to him. He looked over at the noodles emotionlessly.

" I don't feel like eating. You can leave it there. " He said as he turned his face away.

I pursed my lips as I stared at him, " I heard you haven't eaten since last night. It's very bad for your gastric. " I said but he remained silent.

" Felix, can you eat a mouth at least? " I asked.

Still, there's no answer.

I walked over to the side that he's facing and that's when I realised that he was crying. " Are you okay? " I bend down slowly till my face is on the same level as his.

I quickly took a tissue as I wiped his tears away. I didn't know cleaning his tears made him cry even harder. " D-Did I hurt your face or something? " He shook his head.

" Beach, you're just too ugly and I felt bad for you. " He said.

My expression softened as I shot him a smile. " Aw, you actually worry for me? Since when were you this soft? I thought you're going for the bad boy aesthetic. " He rolled his eyes.

I let out a short sigh, " Hey, I don't know why you're crying but my mom always told me since I was young that it's okay to cry as long as I pick myself up again after crying. " I smiled.

I wiped his tears away again, " So cry it out but promise me to pick yourself up again. " He sniffed.

" Do you not dig your nose? I'm surprised it's not congested as of now. " I laughed.

Felix faked a chuckle, " Beach, do you think I can dig my nose when my arms are in a cast? What do I use? My toe? " I nod and he scoffed.

" Alright. Will you eat some noodles now? It's going to puff up and become rice cakes after a while. " He nodded and I smiled brightly as I rushed over to the other side.

I scooped some noodles up for him and fed him. He smiled at the taste of the noodles, " What noodles is this? " He looked into the bowl.

" It's called hand cut noodles. My mom made it herself but I told her to make extra because someone here is in need of some home cooked food. " I eyed him.

He smiled, " Yeah. I really needed it. "

I reached my hand over to remove that small piece of carrot at the side of his mouth. I could feel his stare so I made eye contact with him, " Why? Did you suddenly realised how pretty I am? "

He scoffed as he looked away, " I must be blind if I ever think that you're pretty. " I shrugged as I sat back down on the chair.

" Help me thank your mom. " He said.

My eyes widened, " Since when were you this nice? Are you sick? Did the doctor give you any bad news and now you're apologetic towards me? " I placed the back of my hand over his forehead.

" Is it illegal for me to be nice? " He raised his brows.

I placed the noodles on the table as I looked over at him with my hands on my waist. " You're acting really fishy today. Did my mom add anchovies into the noodles or something? "

I looked into the noodles but there's no sign of anchovies.

Felix chuckled, " Urgh, you're so stupid. "

" Says the one who can't eat by himself. " I said and his eyes widened as he looked like he wants to beat me up yet very shocked by what I said.

" Do I look like I can? " He looked over at both of his arms that are currently in a cast.

I nodded, " You're just lazy. " I said.

He laughed forcefully, " And you're just crazy. "

I scooped a spoonful of noodles as I shoved it into his mouth which caught him off guard.

" Eat your noodles, you cockatoo. "
