Chapter 11

A hush fell over the crowd. Ukai was still on the floor with no sign of getting up. Bokuto had in fact won.

"Ukai has tapped out! Bokuto wins!" The announcer yelled.

"Holy shit" Akaashi whispered. You turned and gripped Akaashi's shoulders.

"He did it!" You screamed.

The crowd went crazy with excitement. You got off of your high and suddenly realized your dad was the one beaten up on the floor.

"Oh fuck dad." You said as you rushed over to his side of the ring. "Shit are you okay?" Ukai tiredly lifted his head off the floor.

"Hey y/n... you know I'm not as young as I used to be." He laughed but his side was bruised so he muttered an "ow".

Bokuto walked over to Ukai after taking in all the glory and picked him up as a sign of good sportsmanship. The crowd cheered for the two fighters as they stood there together. Daichi and Asahi came over to help Ukai off the stage, they took him to the medic.

Akaashi waved you over to him.

"See I told you he could do it, and it's all thanks to you. You should head back to your clan before anyone realizes you're missing." He said.

"I will. I love you. Tell Bokuto I love him too." You said before giving his hand a quick squeeze.

"I love you too. I will." He said before you rushed back to the lounge.

Once you made it in front of the lounge door you practically kicked it open.

"Noya! Tanaka! Where the fuck is my money? Hand it over!" You screamed and the whole clan started laughing. Noya and Tanaka did a walk of shame over to you and handed you $500 each. You happily took it and walked over to the couch before sitting down.

"Nice job with that gamble back there y/n." Suga sat next to you and nudged you in the arm.

"Thank you. Do you think my dad is gonna be okay?"

"Yep he'll be just fine. We were all pretty worried when you ran out of here. Are you okay?"

"I just felt sick to my stomach. I couldn't watch my dad fight one my friends."

"I understand. I'm sure Akaashi was also a nervous wreck too."

"Why wouldn't he be?" You asked confused.

"Well they're dating."

You didn't know what to say back to Suga. Did Daichi say something to him? Or was Suga just making simple conversation?

"Yeah I know they're dating but I didn't realize their relationship was public." You said. This was your set up to bait Suga on what he knew.

"Yeah all the clans know about them. I wonder when they'll get engaged. I think they're such a cute couple." Suga's words struck your heart. Of course he wasn't intentionally trying to hurt you. You wish you could openly talk about the relationship you had with them as well. This is when the secret started to eat at you, it needed to be let out and soon.

A little after your conversation with Suga, Daichi told everybody to get in the cars because the Karasuno clan was leaving.

You met back up with your injured father. He was already sitting in the car.

Hey kiddo." He said to you. Looking at him he was all bandaged up from his fight.

"Hey dad when we get home can we talk?"

"Of course." With that response you sealed your father.
