Chapter 21

A loud bang was heard through the banquet hall and some people screamed. Akaashi tried to push you out of the way in time but you still got shot. Thanks to him you were only shot in the arm. The man with the gun was quickly tackled to the ground and apprehended by clan members.

You fell to the floor because of Akaashi's sudden push.

"Y/n, fuck babe it's going to be okay." Akaashi went to your side, and tried to inspect your wound. Blood started to spill out onto your white dress.

Everyone thought that it was over, more random men pulled out guns and started shooting. None of these men belonged to any of the clans at the gala. People started to panic but the intruders were out numbered.

"Shit. We have to get y/n out of here." Akaashi said as he noticed how bad the bullet wound in your arm was. Bokuto agreed before he pulled out his own gun and started shooting the other men down. Iwaizumi ran up the stage stair and crouched down next to Akaashi.

"Akaashi, give me y/n I'll take her to the safe room." Iwaizumi said as he tried to take you in his arms.

"I can't trust you." Akaashi pulled you closer to him. Your eyes were tightly shut from the shooting pain in your arm.

"Take my gun that should be enough, trust me. I'll get her to safety." Iwa slid his gun over to Akaashi as a nonthreatening gesture.

"Fine take her and go." Akaashi said reluctantly handing you over.

Iwaizumi picked you up bridal style and booked it towards a safe room.

"How are you feeling y/n?" He said avoiding people as he ran.

"Like shit."

"I know, I'll fix you up once we get inside."

He entered the 'safe room' and locked the door behind him. He placed you on the bed that was in the corner of the room.

"I got you y/n." He said before pulling out a medical bag and got some supplies ready.

"I trust you."

"It's gonna be okay. It's only in the arm and not any vital organs. After you breathe in, I'm gonna pull out the bullet then I'll patch you up." He told you.

"Okay." You took in a deep breathe before Iwaizumi took a tool in your arm and grabbed ahold of the bullet before pulling it out of the wound. You did your best to be strong and tried to muffle your cries. Iwa looked at you in pity.

"The bullets out, how you feeling?" He asked you as he started to clean the wound.

"Like crap." You said as you let out a dry laugh.

"Yeah I bet." He laughed. The door unlocked and Oikawa busted through the door before he locked it once again.

"Toru. What's going on out there? Iwaizumi asked him.

"It's Nohebi." Oikawa said trying not to spill too much information in front of you.

"Again?"

"Yep, don't worry it's being taken care of." He said low voice and Iwaizumi nodded understanding what he meant.

"Where are Kotaro and Keiji? Are they okay?"

"Yes they are fine, nothing happened to them. They are wrapping things up with the enemies." Oikawa said coming to your side.

"My dad?"

"He's fine as well, he's with your fiancés."

"Is the Nohebi clan 'the snakes' everyone refers too?" You questioned. Iwa and Oikawa tensed up. "I'm right aren't I?" You knew they weren't suppose to tell you that kind of information. You held these questions for many years and not a soul would tell you.

"Yes..." Oikawa said as he let out a sigh.

"I want to see my fiancés."

"I don't think we can-" Iwaizumi started to say but you cut him off. 

"Take me to them now."
