When Bokuto pulled out the ring you gasped and put your hands over your mouth. Akaashi's hands tightened on your shoulders in surprise.
"Y/n Ukai and Keiji Akaashi... Will you marry me?"
Both you and Akaashi were shocked, clearly neither of you expected this. You looked at Akaashi, his soft eyes met yours and that's when you two knew the answer. Tears pricked your eyes looking back at Bokuto on his knees.
"Yes." You and Akaashi said together. Bokuto stood up off the floor and the three of you hugged. He kissed you and Akaashi for the first time as fiancés. Once you pulled apart Bokuto put the ring on you and Akaashi. You stared in awe at the ring and Akaashi took your hand to look at it too.
"Bokuto-" You started to say something but Bokuto stopped you.
"Y/n we're engaged now call me Kōtarō." He smiled at you. "How about we enjoy dinner and we can go back to Karasuno?"
"That sounds lovely."
Everyone sat down at the table and started eating the food Bokuto had prepared for the dinner. You were surprised with the setup that he had prepared. It was nice to have your proposal in private, it gave you the chance to be yourself with them. After that Bokuto and Akaashi took you back home to the Karasuno manor.
After the excitement of last night Bokuto and Akaashi explicitly knew to keep the engagement secret, especially from your father. They also explained the plan to stage an arranged marriage with them to appease the other clan leaders. You knew it was best to go along with it in order to stay with them.
Bokuto brought you and Akaashi back home to your house.
Your dad pulled you in his office Sunday afternoon and told you about the meeting that was taking place tomorrow.
"This is it?" You said looking at the marriage contract.
"Yep. If it gets approved tomorrow then you will sign it with Bokuto and Akaashi. The three of you will officially become fiancés." Your dad explained. You nodded despite the ironic fact you got secret engaged last night without him knowing. Before you met with your father you took off the ring so he wouldn't see it
"Am I going to attend the whole meeting tomorrow?"
"I'm not sure. The clan leaders might want you in there so, just be on stand by."
