It's a Family Business

Chapter 1

You were peacefully sleeping in your room located in the Karasuno Manor. You were exhausted from school and training that kept you in a pretty busy schedule. Older members of the family homeschooled you and trained you in combat. You were the pride and joy of the Karasuno Clan, but that doesn't mean you could slack off. You had to be as strong and skilled as any other member. Little did you know, your current state of rest was about to be interrupted by your father.

"Y/n! Get up, you can't sleep in forever." Ukai was banging on your door. After banging for about a minute he stopped and continued on with his business. It was only 9 o'clock in the morning but he still woke you up as if you were a child. You slowly got out of bed, your body was in pain from training with Asahi; it also didn't help that you stayed up late reading. You moved over to your bathroom, which was connected to the bedroom and started to wake up.

You finished washing your face when you hear another knock on the door. It was softer than Ukai's banging but you didn't know who it was.

"Good morning y/n, can I come in?" It was Kiyoko.

"Yeah come in." You yawned. The door opened and Kiyoko entered the room holding a large dress bag. That's when you remembered something very important.

"Are you excited-" She couldn't finish her sentence. Before you started to panic and paced around your room.

"Shit! I forgot that stupid Gala was tonight! I completely forgot and Ukai said he was going to introduce me to the Clan leaders!"

"Relax. I've met them all before and they aren't that bad." Kiyoko tried her best to reassure you but it didn't work because you continued to panic.

"Wait. You said you've met them before right? Do you think they'll like me?" Ukai has beaten it into your head that first impressions are everything. The only thing you wanted to do was make him proud.

"Y/n... you are the pride and joy of the Karasuno Clan! They have to love you, and if they don't tell Ukai... he'll change their mind." She smiled. You knew she was right.

Kiyoko left soon after since she was just dropping off the dress.

You decided that you needed to talk to Ukai, but you had to find him first. You finished getting ready for the day by putting on a simple pair of jeans and a black tank top. You made your way out of your room; you continued down the hallway but ran into someone while turning the corner.

That someone was Hinata.

"Y/n... it's a pleasure seeing you." He bowed nervously. He was new to the family so he was still super formal with you.

"Hinata please don't bow when you see me... it's weird. You really don't have to be so formal." You laughed. He gave you a smile and a nod.

"Right! Do you need anything?" He asked you.

"Yes, do you know where I can find Ukai?"

"He's in the conference room with Daichi and Suga."

"Thank you." You said quickly before starting down the hallway. Hinata watched you for a second before he remembered. Ukai was in a meeting.

"Wait y/n!" He called down the hallway but you were long gone.

You skipped down to the hallway to the conference room. You stopped once you were outside the big brown doors. You pushed them open and walked inside.

"Hey Father I-" You stopped realizing you fucked up. Ukai, Daichi, and Suga were all in a meeting with two unknown men. All five of them were staring at you. You immediately bowed to apologize.
