It was time for the gala once again. Everyone in your clan was wearing black except you. Your father was smart, he arranged for you to be in a private car with just him and Daichi driving it. It was the day of your engagement announcement and your father didn't want to spoil it. Once the rest of the clan started to drive to the event, your father had Daichi pull around the car. The surprise was secret from most of your clan because of it and that's how your father planned it. You were on your way with your father to the venue and you were just as nervous as the first time you went to the gala 3 years ago.

"How are you feeling?" He said you because you were clearly tense in your white gown.

"Fine, nervous mostly." You responded.

"Nervous? This should be a happy moment. I finally gave those boys my blessing and everyone is going to be ecstatic for you." He said and you nodded.

The actual announcement was later into the night to build up suspense. It was also taboo to ask those who were wearing white why they wore it.

The rest of the car ride was mostly silent. You pulled up in front of the venue and your father took your hand. The rest of the Karasuno Clan got out of their cars, waiting for their leader. He open the car door and stepped out then pulled you out of the car by your hand. Some of the clan members gasped when they saw you in white. Once you fixed your dress your father took you to lead the clan into the doors to make the clan entrance.

The ballroom went silent when you walked in the room, and you hated the attention. You looked around the room to see if you could find Bokuto and Akaashi but they weren't there.

The clan was dismissed to enjoy their night as you continued to search for your fiancés. You stood at the edge of the dance floor, trying to ignore the eyes on you.

"Y/n." A voice said behind you. You turned around to see Oikawa wearing a black suit with a turquoise vest and tie.

"Oikawa, hello." You greeted with a small bow.

"Dance with me sweetheart." He said as he extended his hand out to you.

"I don't know..." You said quietly. Your remembered the rule your father gave you all those years ago. The rule that led you to meet Bokuto and Akaashi.

"Come on don't cause a scene, love." He whispered dangerously in your ear. Did Oikawa know about the rule? If he did, that frightened you.

"Alright." You said putting on a brave face and took his hand.

Oikawa pulled you onto the dance floor which caused more people to watch you. He spun you around the floor along with other couples.

"Someone as beautiful as you shouldn't marry a himbo like Bokuto. Akaashi is the only one who seems worthy of your time but he seems so boring all the times." He slowed down his dancing pace to talk to you, his voice was low so only you could hear it.

"Oikawa I-" You tried to give a rebuttal, but he cut you off.

"Please call me Toru." He said sweetly.

"Toru" You said sweetly. "I would appreciate it if you wouldn't insult my fiancés." Your voice's tone changed to a stern one.

You were prepared to slap Oikawa in the face when someone tapped him on the shoulder.
