Chapter 6 - new friends

Steph, Ethan, Mike and me played Marco Polo for a bit. It was fun, but mike is getting really touchy feely and its very uncomfortable.... But Ethan and Steph seem to be hitting it off, which is a very good thing because I really do not want my brother - we have the best sister and brother relationship - and my best friend dating! It's weird and just... Weird.

Jason came back a few minutes before we finished our game of Marco Polo, so when we finished playing I asked where he has been and he replied with,

"I was in the bathroom." He stated.

"For 40 minutes?" I asked with disbelief lacing through my voice.

"Ahh, well I saw this really hot chick and we-" he started but I cut him off.

"Oh my god, that's fucking gross. You had sex with a random, and in a public pool bathroom. Wow that's gross." I hissed at him.

"Oh calm down. We didn't have sex we had a make-out sesh for 10 minutes."

"Then what did you do?" I asked curious.

"I slapped her ass and walked away about to come back to here but I ran into Jessie and we started chattin."

"Hmm fair enough, where is he now?"

"He went. He had go drop something off to his mum."

"Fair enough."

"Who are these too guys? Never seen you with them before."

"Well," I pointed Ethan out and said, "that's Ethan. Steph was meant to hook me up with him but I didn't like him so I said that she could befriend him. And that over there," I pointed out mike, "is mike. He's Ethan's mate I guess."

"Okay."

He swam away as Steph swam towards me. She was blushing so much! This is a very good thing. Maybe he's not that bad of a guy, I tried to convince myself. Or.. He's just a very good flirter my inner-self argued.

"Hey, where did Jason go before?"

I decided not to tell truth.

"He had to go for a bit. He ahh, had to pick a few things up for mum and stuff."

"Ohh, okay."

"Looks like you and Ethan are ahh, getting along?" I wiggled my eyebrows and pumped her on the shoulder lightly, smirking in the process.

She blushed even more. "He's alright."

"Oh really? Just alright? You look like a tomato every time I mention his name."

"Oh shut up!" She flicked water in my face giggling, "but seriously, he's amazing! He's kind but also mysterious. He's not frigit like most guys. I don't get why you don't like him."

"Someday I will learn to like him but hmm, there's just something about him that makes me not interested."

"Whatever. He's amazing and I like him."

"So you no longer like Jason?" Hope mixed in with my usual tone.

"Oh please, I still like him but I'll get over it."

We finished our conversation and parted ways. She went to Ethan and I stayed put, swimming under the water.
Looking at the navy blue oblivion, it was truly amazing.
I was wondering why I didn't like Ethan, maybe it's because he's too good-looking and he has the aura of a player. But Steph did say that he is kind...
Jesus, my perspective of guys these days are very different. I don't drool over guys like I used to, it's different ever since-

I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around and saw Mike grinning. He pointed upwards signalling for me to go back up to the surface. So, curious as to what he wants. I swam back up to the top.

"Yes?"

"Me and Ethan are leaving, you and Steph wanna come?"

"Ahh just give me a minute, I'll ask," I swam to Steph who was busy talking to Ethan. "Can I talk to you for a minute?" I was waiting for her approval, we swam a few meters away from Ethan.

"What?"

"Did you wanna go with Ethan and mike?"

"Naa, I'm buggered. I could sleep."

"Great, me too."

We got out of the pool and dried off. I could see mike checking me out again and he didn't even bother to try and hide it.

"Like what you see?" I asked. Playin with him.

"Yes. I. Do." He said smirking.

"Cocky." I laughed and quickly put on my play suit I was wearing earlier.

"Well I can't help it... Your beautiful."

I couldn't help but blush. "Thanks."

Me and Mike exchanged numbers, and Ethan and Steph did as well.
We bid our goodbyes then we went our separate ways.

Me, Steph and Jason went to the bikes, unlocked them then went on our merry way back home.
