Chapter 15 - his intentions?

Since its been so long here's a brief recap of the last chapter:

Kat runs into Reece the hottest guy in school, he gives back her phone that she dropped and she went and saw Blake.

Present:

It's been a week since my encounter with Reece, it's quite embarrassing. The girls bring it up here and there and they always tell me that he looks at me but every time I look at him he isn't so they must be going delusional.

After school had finished I started to walk towards home but just before I reached the school gate I heard a someone yell my name, I turned around curious as to who it is and to my complete surprise it was Reece.

Woah why does he want me?
Did I drop another thing that he forgot to give back?

"Hi?" I said not bothering to hide the curiosity laced in my voice.

"Hey, which way are you walking?" He asked as if we're friends. Which in fact, we are not.

"This way to my house? Why?" I looked into his beautiful eyes that had some emotion I couldn't quite decipher... Amusement? Playfulness? Lust? No it couldn't be lust, what are you on Kat? Keep it cool, he's only the hottest guy in school that your talking to.

"Great me too. Can I walk with you?" He asked with a hint of nervousness and fear that I'd say no. I looked at him for a long time trying to figure out why he's standing here and talking to me for the first time since I've known him. Well second, actually third if you include my embarrassing run in with him last week and when he gave back my phone.... What does he want? He's never been interested in me, maybe Sarah cause she's hot and all but looking in his eyes that turn a shade bluer then before I realised that I'm going to find out.

"I guess so." I started to walk towards the gate again and I could feel him behind me and then beside me when he had room. I looked around and realised that some of the popular girls standing by are shooting daggers at me and giving me filthy looks. Why? Huh.. popular girls in my school are greedy bitches when it comes to hot guys and things they like. It's like fucken Edward towards Bella when it comes to Jacob, so possessive and shit, like dude calm down and take a few breaths. I never really liked the twilight series as much as what I expected but they are okay, definitely not a favourite. Back to Reece and his ever confusing agenda that I was about to find out. Does he want me to do an English paper? Tudor him? No he's good at academics that can't be it. What is it? Is it Sarah? Does he want me to ask her out for him? Ugh I'm going crazy not knowing.

It's like he read my thoughts by saying,

"So uhh your probably wondering why I wanted to walk with you huh?" I took a side ways glance at him and saw that he was looking ahead then looked at me so I looked away.

"I'd be lying if I said no. So what's up? Why the sudden interest in me? Your not giving me personal sympathy just like everyone in this damn school.. Are you?" I asked curiously. I'm so curious, even though curiosity killed the cat.

He chuckled and then he turned serious, "no I'm not but I am sorry that it happened, I know it must be hard-" I cut him off starting to gain some humour but also a little angry. 

"That is sympathy. And yes it but it isn't your business so please just drop it. I've had enough sympathy from people, I'm starting to get angry." I said truthfully.
