the room continually flashed red and blue colored lights over and over. there wasnt much in the room except the floor growing fake grass and violent words were graffitied into the wall along with many news articles dating back to '950502'.

in the middle of the room, was a square of caution tape fencing shattered glass, a carved wooden box, a polaroid, and a roll of paper with three words filling the entire journal entry.

"i'm going grocery shopping. can you lend me some money?" bambam asked yugyeom sweetly.

yugyeom put down his spray can, previously painting a space galaxy like mural on the back wall of the tree house. it was like a little commemorative of the first painting bambam saw of his. he handed bambam his bag for traveling out. "don't be gone for too long. i'll miss you." he gave him a quick hug. "go get yourself something special while you're at it. my treat." he smiled and waved off as bambam left the treehouse and out of their living quarters to the outside world.

bambam played around with his bracelet after he put the backpack on wondering where to travel off to for a bit. he's felt so content with life these days. back then, when he was so fixated on photography, a day when he was slacking off and did nothing to improve himself was a shitty, no good day. but now, having his focus on spending time with yugyeom, finishing up the house, and vaguely planning out their museum... sometimes having do-nothing days still felt so nice and relaxing.

he walked into the two's favorite cafe, getting ready to order some bubble tea to refresh himself when he noticed the calendar on the wall. oh my god. he pointed at today's date. it's almost... may 2nd... the day where i first met yugyeom. he felt his heartstrings pull at his emotions, bringing his heart to a loving accelerating pound. i can't believe it's almost been a year since i met yugyeom. he put his hands on his backpack strings, immediately walking out of the cafe to head to the craft store. it's been such a wonderful journey. he started to sprint faster, feeling his energy fill to its highest peak. i have to make him something for when that day comes. i want him to know... how much i appreciate him. and maybe... the cutest idea came to his mind.

i can finally tell him i love him.

bambam arrives in front of the craft store confidentially.

that's it. that will be the perfect time to finally say those three words i've been wanting to tell him forever: i love you.

"are you ready?" bambam gave his present box a last minute ribbon to tie it up perfectly before heading off to the train station with yugyeom.

yugyeom held a present bag in his hand and took bambam's hand with his other. "ready. let's go." they both head off together to a place they thought they'd never go back to.

it was nerve racking, but the day finally came. and they really wanted to celebrate it together at the place that started it all: the bridge.

the two sat in the same area they did when they first rode on here: the very back where no one would pay attention to them. it's still hard to not feel nervous while together in public, but they've been easing up step by step. yugyeom has not once yet let go of bambam's hand, in fact squeezing it tighter as the train chugs off to their destination.

"are you nervous?" yugyeom noticed bambam's arms and legs were shaking.

"a little." he admitted. "going back there... kind of gives me trauma. but trust me, i'm more excited than scared."

"same. although many bad moments occurred here and there, i can't forget all the good memories that happened back at our hometown." he looked out the window, seeing the scenery pass by him so quickly. it felt as if they were taking a time capsule back to a year ago, traveling back to when they first locked eyes. "so yea. don't be afraid. i'm here. and it'll be great." he felt his heart ping. "romantic even."
