the final room was continued to be pitch black. but at the last exit door was a big illuminated sign that reads:

DO YOU WANT TO CONTINUE?

YES. NO.

the curtain door to the final room of the art museum leads under 'yes'.

[6 months later...]

"hey." a voice echoed behind bambam as he stared off into a lake.

bambam turned around to see who was speaking to him. "y...yugyeom?"

yugyeom held out his arms. "you were right. there was a way. i got sent out early." yugyeom smiled, eager for bambam to run in his arms. "i'm home."

bambam rushed over immediately, feeling his heart completely explode having him by his side again. "ah! i missed you so much! i knew you'd come back soon. i believed in you." tears formed around his eyes, feeling a giant wave of relief wash over him.

the amount of happiness couldn't be expressed. this was the best day of his life.

"bambam..." yugyeom leaned towards his face. "i..." the two's lips were almost touching. "i..."

bambam closed his eyes, waiting for yugyeom to press his lips against his.

but silence rang. not a single sound was made anymore.

bambam quickly opened his eyes back up to see yugyeom gone from his arms. he anxiously checked every direction where yugyeom couldve went. suddenly, the room becomes pitch black as bambam ran around to try to find him again.

"i'm never seeing you again." a loud evil voice boomed loudly in his ears.

"NO! STOP! YUGYEOM COME BACK TO ME!"

-

"COME BACK!" bambam cried out loud, jolting upright on his bed.

he felt his heart pound out of his chest, noticing his breathing rate accelerate a bit too fast for comfort.

he sighed heavily, looking out the window of his small apartment building.

it was a dream. of course it was.

bambam got out of bed, feeling no will to continue this day already.

it's been six months. he grabs his backpack and "heads to school". i just want to go back to the life i previously lived. he headed off with his camera, stickers peeling and scratched off all over the place.

it's been six months. and nothing seemed to get any better at all for him. he moved back into his hometown, as it was the only option for him to start an education again. he gets a handful of whispers and stares, but only because of sorrow and sympathy now. everyone knows about the crimes of kim yugyeom. and sadly, he himself was a big part of the lies and fabrications. it's not fun living this life. it never was.

he left the treehouse and shack behind. he couldn't get himself to stay in that place any longer even though he spent hours of effort on it. no matter how much he wanted to smash his teddy bear, the music box, the bracelet, and even the gifts he gave yugyeom, he couldn't get himself to. although he doesn't even look at them on a daily basis anymore. they're all locked up inside a box that he'll probably never look in again.

the thought of yugyeom makes him frustrated on such deep levels.

nothing was fun anymore. not even photography. in the past six months, he's just felt like a walking zombie. just getting up to live.
