Chapter 6- The Trial

*TW ABUSE*

I slowly opened my eyes. Instantly every part of my body ached and was so hot. I sweating all over, I had a fever.

Then I realized that I wasn't in my bunk bed but in a dark room, with metal bars surrounding me. I tried to pull a piece of hair out of my face when I realized I was handcuffed on both wrists with a chain attached to the wall. 

Instantly I started screaming and trying to escape. I wasn't back there again, I can't be. I escaped from my father. He can't hurt me anymore.  Tears started forming in my eyes as all the memories came flooding back. I looked at my arms and they were bare. I always wore a long sleeve but now my scars were revealed.

The scars that my father caused...

I began to scream even louder and pulled at the chains

"Y/N!! IT'S OKAY YOUR SAFE!" Eren yelled at me. "you're safe we are with the survey corps."

He knew exactly why I was so stressed out. I looked over to see that Eren was also chained to a bed beside me. I looked into his emerald eyes and stopped screaming and took a deep breath. He then smiled at me and I smiled back.

I looked in front of me, behind the bars was none other than Commander Erwin and Captain Levi.

"keep putting up a fit and I might have to kill you," Levi said coldly

"Sorry... I-" I didn't continue

"now that you are awake y/n, I ask what are your intentions?" said Erwin

"my intentions?"

"Are you with or against humanity?"

I paused for a second

"you're saying after killing countless titans, saving my comrades, and training just to be a member of the survey corps for years... you're questioning my integrity?" I scoff "of course I'm with humanity!" I yell, then wince from my aching body.

"fair point... you also seem quite injured and ill, but we won't be able to do anything about that until after your trial."

"well depending on how your trial goes," Levi adds in before exiting the room with Erwin behind him.

Silence filled the room, now only me and Eren were inside. And we both had changed a lot.

"So uh... you can shoot electricity out of your hands now, "Eren said breaking the silence

"yeah... and you're a titan?"

"Yeah, I don't really know how but, I had a dream about my dad he told me that I have to use this power wisely to save humanity... with you."

My jaw dropped and my eyes opened wide.

"I had a dream about your dad as well... he told me the same thing. But he also told me that my power was built to kill titans, like what captain Levi said earlier when that guy was trying to execute us. Something about it clashing with the DNA of pure titans and so on. He also told me that I was part of some sort of prophecy and that my parent's death wasn't an accident."

Eren looked at me in shock, "I wonder what this means... there is still so much we don't know."

We both just sat there again, I wonder why we both had flashbacks of Grisha.

"E-eren..."

"yeah (y/n)"

"When I thought you died, I'd never felt a pain like that in my life. So please don't ever scare me like that again. I never want to lose you. Promise you won't ever leave me." I said fiddling my thumbs and a blush rising to my cheeks.
