Frozen, Tangled, Little Mermaid and Tarzan are in the same world?

Elsa and Anna's parents died horrible, offscreen Disney deaths before Frozen's story gets going. Though we don't know the specifics, we do see them get on a boat and head off somewhere, complete with ominous assurances like "we'll be back before you know it" and "you'll see us alive again in two weeks for sure." They might've been on their way to the wedding ceremony for Rapunzel and Flynn -- a royal wedding is a good a reason as any to travel across the sea. If you figure they met their watery graves in the middle of their journey, that would place them around Denmark. And you know who lives around Denmark?

This is where it gets a little sordid. As the theory goes, the sunken ship in The Little Mermaid is actually the wrecked ship of Elsa/Anna's parents. Scrounging for human artifacts and fetishizing her hoard was part of Ariel's character in TLM, but with this new information her "collection" takes on a sinister bent. We always knew deep inside that Ariel was a graverobber, but now we know she was desecrating the dissolved corpses of a kindly couple who died on their way to a wedding, orphaning two children and scarring them for life.

But what if Elsa and Anna's parents didn't die in Frozen at all, but in a different movie entirely...

Fans have long speculated that Elsa and Anna's parents were the very same couple from Tarzan -- you know, the ones that got stranded on an island, the ones that had a baby boy before they both got devoured by a jungle cat like two lukewarm blood-filled Hot Pockets. If the theory is correct, that would make Tarzan the little brother of both Anna and Elsa. The timeline seems a little wonky if you go by the clothing and the eye colors, but the one of the Frozen directors dropped some strong hints supporting the Tarzan connection in a Reddit AMA. And he'd be the one to know, because he also directed Tarzan. Save yourself the smarmy Frozen reference -- I am not letting this go.
