Tom and Jerry- Did they die?

We know, these people, they're one of the things that were part of our childhood for years, but are they dead?

One of the episodes in Tom and Jerry, (I'm sorry I forgot), they got broken hearted that they were cheated on bye their crush or girl. Then they sat on a train track, and just stayed there. Then a train noise was heard and then the ending theme comes.

My reaction: DA WHAT NOO!!!

Okay, this I didn't copy paste from others and said this is my opinion. So basically, this can be real and I think this is one of the last episodes... But, the good part is that, you know this show, even though they get hit a lot, they don't die. Probably like this episode. But the bad part is, I think they might actually died....
