"Do you fools want to become heroes that badly?" Overhaul asked them, shooting more bits of the floor and even the walls and ceiling toward them. "To save Eri that badly, Lemillion and..."
"It's Guardian to you!" Ayami spat at him, Ansaluia falling back to Headspace before the girl could get overwhelmed.
The villain's voice was turning more deranged by the minute. "This hero-syndrome is a filthy disease of our time. I'll fix people like you with Eri's power."
Mirio leapt away from a pointed bit of the ground that nearly impaled his side. He was already bleeding in multiple places from where he nor Ayami could block, but he was still managing better than she knew possible. "Nighteye... Tamaki... Everyone who came on this mission... Even Ayami, who fought her way in to save this girl, just as I did..." He readied another punch. "CHISAKI!"
"I though I told you I threw that name away!" Overhaul roared back, reaching down to sent more shooting pillars of earth toward Mirio.
The attack was interrupted by the wall opposite to where Ayami had burst in being smashed open.
"D-Deku...!?" Eri whispered.
Midoriya, surrounded in the green electricity of One for All's Full Cowling, had arrived- which meant the rest of the Pros couldn't be too far behind. He landed a quick punch straight into Overhaul, knocking the villain across the room, and while he was distracted, Ayami swooped away, a plan forming in her head as she neared her green-haired classmate.
Nighteye and Aizawa also burst in, both in their hero costumes, the latter disabling Overhaul's quirk temporarily. "I erased it! Nighteye, secure those who need treatment!" The former nodded, surveying the area, before running over to the beaten Mirio to embrace him.
"It's fine now... You did amazing... You were amazing, Mirio."
"Eri's with Ayami, who's managed to keep her safe for a little while, but she can't hold up forever," the blond exhaled.
Overhaul smacked the ground with no result as the Midoriya and Eraserhead charged him. "Lemillion and Guardian have cornered him thus far. Keep pressing him!" The Pro ordered.
"Yes sir!" The other snapped, obviously worked up from all the adrenaline in his system.
"GET UP CHRONO!" Overhaul bellowed, managing to stand. Immediately, a long strand of hair reached out and smacked Aizawa, who had managed to jump in front of Midoriya and knock him aside at the last second.
"Those pierced by the long hand will have their movements slowed. I meant to skewer both of you at once, but what else can I expect from heroes?" The sidekick monologued.
"Eraserhead, Deku, are you alright!?" Ayami shouted to the two heroes. Midoriya looked up at her and nodded, but a look at Aizawa was all it took to show he had been struck hard, and was now hardly able to move, seeming more like a snail than a person.
"Sure took him a while to wake up," Overhaul sighed. Aizawa must have blinked by the time he was hit, since the villain looked ready to manipulate the environment again. "It's true Chrono was taken out before, but I managed to repair his head, healing the damage."
Midoriya got back on his feet, already charging with lightning-fast reflexes, and Ayami was flying back toward them, knowing the villain was never up to any good. "Chisaki!" The hero-in-training shouted, ready to attack.
"It's all... it's all for nothing!" Overhaul reared up, winding his arm back before flinging it toward the ground. "Completely useless!"
Ayami stretched out a tentacle to nab Midoriya from the back of his costume, just barely managing to pull him into the air as hundreds of spikes erupted form the floor, a few only centimeters away from hitting them. A glance told her Mirio and Nighteye hadn't been harmed, but they had been close to getting struck.
