And find out did they certainly. It was a whole week of juggling working at the theater and at the computer shop as a customer service worker before another villain was shown on the screen in the office, and Ayami knew what was coming.
The villain's quirk was what stopped her from saying yes to most of her spirit's offers, and she realized what would happen the second she made a choice.
This villain was different than many before, with neither a transformation or mutant quirk, but instead having quite a strange emitter-type. Whoever it was could instantly cloud someone with dark gas, preventing them from seeing and eventually from breathing, though no one had died from it yet.
She'd need a way to protect herself, and she'd need a way to fight back. With equal force.
"Can I take over?" Ares' voice was surprisingly calm and collected, as if he knew exactly what their agreement entailed. The echo of Brizo's vision hung tensely in the air with his words. In response, Ayami took the name tag from her employee uniform and set it on her desk.
"Yes."

Very few times had Ayami ever allowed herself to wear that look, with her scarlet-faded-crimson hair and ruby red eyes, carrying a transparent blade of the same hue. The first time she ever had was at her second foster home, when Ares had first manifested.
Upon seeing Ayami wield the Manifest power of Prometheus and the Element power of Gaia, her at-the-time foster father (more like a tyrant, if you asked her) had began beating her, using the iron knuckle quirk he had, and the helpless anger and pain she felt became the hotheaded red Copycat user. He had knocked the foster father's attack with an equally-strong hit, blocking his next jab with a small shield made of built-up power from copying the quirk. She was promptly returned to the orphanage, but Ares had become a staple of Ayami's miniature army of spirits since that day as a seven-year-old girl. A protective, aggressive (to others outside and inside their system), and even sometimes self-destructive force who fought with no limit to his rage.
And here "she" was at fifteen, tagging as many people as she could while she ran the through the streets and filtering through their quirks, knowing it would only be a few minutes before Ares would be ejected from her mind and the villain would win.
They soon reached the scene of the crime, where the two Pros that Brizo had described were fighting it. Just like in her vision, the male had levitating black hair, though golden goggles covered his eyes, while the other woman in the suggestive costume was tearing holes in her sleeves to emit a lavender gas.
Ares-Ayami used a grappling-hook-like quirk that had been copied from a civilian to bungee around the buildings, coming behind the building where the villain was perched. He quickly noticed before Ares could land a hit, extending an arm to try to blind them, but the red spirit swatted the blade out and a red semi-sphere formed, blocking and absorbing the power of the attack before sending it back at him.
He managed to dodge, but now Ares had ahold of his quirk. Not that the possessed Ayami had noticed in the heat of the battle, but Pro Heroes Eraserhead and Midnight were gaping at the appearance of the girl they had been hunting for just over a week.
The male gritted his teeth and extended his capture weapon, nearly catching the villain before he jumped away and tried to blind him, but by then Eraserhead had recovered and erased the villain's quirk, though his eyes were already dry and burning.
Meanwhile, Ares-Ayami was focused on taking down the villain, forming a series of shields that they jumped between whilst sending seeds like bullets and small, sharp pieces of silverware at them. If they weren't in the heat of battle and combined, both she and Ares would find someone with a quirk of cutlery of all things to be hilarious.
