Overhaul whipped around, one hand pressing against the stone pillar while another draped helplessly over it. "GIVE HER BACK!" The earth from his pillar shot out like claws toward Ayami and Eri.
Midoriya jumped and smashed through the one closest to her, pushing off them to break more while she dodged, her feet turning to tentacles to smack any that came close- the strikes were weak and less precise than the ones made with her arms, but those were preoccupied at the moment.
Suddenly, Overhaul's monstrous form jumped toward her, arms outstretched with a murderous expression on his face. Midoriya immediately took notice and pushed off the nearest stone, rocketing toward them- But will he make it in time?
Eri's in my arms, but I can't get away fast enough without risking Overhaul getting us, and if he even touches me he could kill me, so I can't fight him off. How can we escape it?
The young girl's own, red eyes stared wide, first at her ex-captor falling down like a bullet, right toward them... and then at the determined, green-surrounded hero-to-be zooming toward her across the remnants of the destroyed room. Two saviors larger than life, who were still kids at the end of the day, facing off against a man who could kill with a single touch.
But they won't give up... They won't ever stop until I'm safe, and they've done so much already for me...
Ayami sent out one of her tentacles at Midoriya, summoning Deimos as her last-resort. As soon as she reached him, she pulled him forward, the three of them all in one cluster.
The boy shut his eyes, and the full power of One For All ran through him. Ayami focused all the greatest fears buried deep inside her, inside Eri, inside Midoriya, in Overhaul, everyone as her Dreamscape spread far, further than it ever had. It was like the all-consuming power of Nyx Panic but somehow more, even stronger.
The second she let it off, expecting broken bones from Midoriya and a killer headache- not to mention Deimos going unconscious on impact- for herself, she suddenly felt light, and then a massive blast went off.
The three of them were rocketing into the air, above the ground, then higher than all the buildings in the city. She noticed Midoriya's whole body was completely unharmed, and she felt entirely free of pain- Eri's horn was glowing, and she was rewinding them, before their pain, but the effects of their combined attack had blown Overhaul away and shot them high above it all.
As they reached their zenith, momentarily just hovering in the air, Ayami remembered that she was the only one there who could fly and began beating her wings, which were slowly beginning to grow smaller, like when she was forming them but in rewind.
Eri's quirk hadn't deactivated, so she flapped faster and harder and began forming them. She didn't grow any more tired no matter how many feathers disappeared just to get replaced, which was a good sign, but it was certainly sapping at her concentration.
She pulled Eri closer to her, managing to remove Midoriya's hand that was resting on her while flipping the boy onto her back, resting between her wings.
"Eri's just like I was when I first came to UA- she can't properly control her quirk, meaning now that it's active, I don't think she can stop it. With my sub-quirks I can continually use my energy without getting completely rewound, but unless you continuously use One for All... I don't think hanging onto her will do much good. She kept us both from getting injured after that blast attack, though..."
Midoriya seemed to stiffen, stretching his leg, only to realize she was right, and it was almost (if not completely) healed. The hole where his leg had been impaled with stone, along with his other injuries, seemed to fade away by the second. Ayami's minor wounds were the same.
