Jin walked into the classroom, nervous to find out what classes he had that day. What if this was a class he had with Namjoon or Jackson? Or worse, both of them? He found a seat near the back to hopefully draw no attention. "Good morning students," the teacher started. Everyone smiled at this teacher. "It seems to be that we have a new student in our class today," she trailed off. "Kim Seokjin?"
He took a minute to look at the teacher. She looked very young as if she had been only teaching for a year or two. Her blonde hair had a pink tint and it went down to her waist. She had a very thin figure, and Jin could tell she tried hard to keep it that way. She also had a little trouble with her Korean on a few words. It probably wasn't her first language. Jin could pick up an accent coming from her voice.
Jin could feel himself stop breathing. "H-hi?" he stammered out, too nervous to say anything else. His palms started to get sweaty and his hands got a little shaky when he replied.
The teacher smiled at him again. "Would you like to introduce yourself, Seokjin?" she asked him politely.
Jin shook his head. "I'd prefer not t-to, thank you," he said with a monotone. The boy sat down in his seat again and scanned the classroom. He then realized who was sitting in front of him. The one and only, Kim Namjoon.
"Ms. Park, how are we supposed to have him debate if he can barely introduce himself?" the teal-haired boy spat. He gave Jin a glare and the older sunk down in his seat. Jin remembered the conversation from this morning. Jungkook said to avoid Namjoon, but he looked like he was nice when he saw him interacting with Jackson. This was all confusing him.
"Namjoon. That isn't nice to say about people. I'll have you know, Seokjin is one of the top debaters in the country," she announced. "and I guess you'll have to learn that in detention this afternoon,"
Jin sunk down even further. "Ms. Park, I hate to interrupt but, please don't make me seem like I'm so much better than I really am. I've written some nice essays but that's about it," he said humbly. He hid his face with his black cardigan, not wanting to be seen.
She looked at him in disbelief. "I'd really like to argue with you but we need to get the class started," she said.
Namjoon glared at Jin the whole time, the older being the reason he had detention. Jin was glad he was in the back of the classroom to avoid being attacked from behind. The teal-haired boy intimidated him very much, and he could only imagine what would happen if they had more than one class together. The only thing keeping Jin sane at the moment was the thought of spending the lunch period with Jungkook's friends.
