[one week after the previous chapter]

A teal-haired boy walked down the hallways alone today, hood up. He wanted to be noticed by as few people as possible. Today was a rare day. The days his boyfriend was out were sadly the ones he cherished the most. The attention Jackson brought to him was something he never wanted, and something he absolutely despised.

He made his way over to the exact person he wanted to see. The slightly older senior widened his eyes at the male approaching him. This is weird, Jin thought to himself. Namjoon grabbed Jin by the wrist and dragged him to one of the hall closets.

The taller one removed his hood, revealing the identity he tried so hard to conceal. "N-Namjoon?" Jin asked, surprised by the fact that the younger was willing to talk to him. "I-I'm not s-supposed to be talking t-to you," He stuttered. What would Jackson think of this?

Namjoon tilted his head in confusion. "You aren't supposed to talk to me?" he asked, not sure if he heard correctly.

Jin nodded. "J-Jackson threatened me if I did," Namjoon frowned a little. He could feel the anger growing inside of him. "Where is he?" Jin asked.

"Typical Jackson. He said that he's sick, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was off with some girl," Namjoon said, mumbling the last part.

Jin took the time to look around the closer. There were all sorts of cleaning supplies and extra packages of paper in the small room. He then put his focus back on Namjoon, who was still quiet. "Can I ask you something?"

"You just did,"

The older chuckled a little and played with his hands, nervous to ask the question. "Do you actually love him?" Jin asked.

Namjoon sighed, contemplating over the question. Did he really love Jackson? The answer was no at this point, but if you asked him the same question a year ago, the answer would have been an automatic yes. He couldn't let it out just yet. "That's none of your business," he replied, trying his best to stay calm. Jin quickly apologized.

"Why did you bring me in here?" he asked. If Namjoon didn't know that Jin got threatened, what else was there to talk about?  This was confusing him too much.

Namjoon sighed again. "I wanted to apologize in advance," he said. "You may not grasp onto why yet, and I hope I'll never have to, but I'm sorry for anything I'm forced to do to you,"

Jin was even more confused now. Why was he apologizing? What did he mean by 'forced to do to you'? He took a second to process the information. "Why would you be forced to hurt someone?" he finally asked.

"There are things in this world that I hope you never understand. Associating yourself with Jackson and me can be dangerous. Having yourself be seen with me will cause you to deal with Jackson. And trust me when I say this, nobody wants to deal with Jackson," Namjoon replied, putting his hood back up and leaving the closet.
