The crowded halls only led to an even more crowded lunchroom. People were yelling at their friends and waiting for food in one of the longest lines Jin had ever witnessed. He had trouble finding Jungkook but eventually found the sophomore talking to another group of people.
There were two boys with him. One of them had smooth blonde hair. Jin couldn't figure out if the mop of hair was bothering him, or he just really liked touching it, because he was constantly swooping it to the back of his head. He was kind of short, but everybody was short compared to the senior.
The other one was also shorter than Jungkook and looked to be a freshman. His eyes would go into crescents every time he laughed, hiding the dark brown color in them. He wore a black t-shirt and some ripped jeans, paired with black shoes.
"H-hey Jungkook," Jin said, mustering up every bit of confidence he had in him. "You invited m-me to lunch this morning. It's okay if you want to take back the offer, I don't mind," he stuttered out.
Jungkook had a bright smile on his face and chuckled. "Why would I take it back? Come on!" he said enthusiastically, grabbing the wrist of the older. His two companions followed behind.
To say Jin was nervous was an understatement. Jungkook led them away from the cafeteria, which Jin was thankful for. He did not want to deal with all the loud people. They went under the bleachers, to a nice table that was hidden from the rest of the school. Nobody who cared about where the boys were was on the track, so they had nothing to worry about. There were three plastic lawn chairs next to the table. Jin could only assume that was where they ate lunch in peace.
"This is cool," Jin smiled while saying, "but aren't there four of us?" he asked.
Jungkook nodded. "Jimin could sit on the floor," he gestured to the boy with the blonde hair. I guess that's Jimin, Jin thought to himself.
"I'll do it, I really don't mind," The other one volunteered.
The sophomore nodded again. "Channie, thank you," he said.
"Y-yeah, thank you," the older thanked.
'Jimin' finally spoke again. "I need someone to come with me to get our food," he announced.
"I'll go with you," Jin volunteered. They already gave up a seat for him, so he felt like he should go with them to get food. Jimin nodded and they walked to the cafeteria. "Is it always this loud?" he asked.
"Unfortunately. Jungkookie has problems with it being too loud because he's one of the quietest yet most extroverted people I've ever met, so we found a place to eat outside. It's pretty cool that only a few people know where it is. Other than us, there's Yoongi and his group,"
"Who's Yoongi?" Jin asked.
"He's one of my friends. He's a senior too, a little bit younger than you. You might see him around Namjoon and Jackson sometimes,"
The moment he heard, "around Namjoon and Jackson", he knew that this boy wouldn't be good news. The two finally got their food and walked back over to the makeshift cafeteria.
"You totally like him," Jungkook teased 'Channie'. The youngest went all red and hid his face. Jin really wanted to know the context of this conversation but was too scared to ask.
