"How was your afternoon?" The younger boy asked, a bit of pep in his step. His red backpack went up and down as he happily skipped along the sidewalk.
There wasn't much of a walk to Jin's house. Almost all of the buildings in this area looked the same, just with different colors and a column or two here and there. The senior never really took the time to look at the houses since he moved here. He snapped out of his thoughts when he heard Bang Chan's voice. "I-It was pretty nice, although the gym teachers don't seem like happy campers," he joked.
The brunette chuckled, making his eyes go into crescents again. "You got unlucky since you're in the afternoon. They're okay for the first few periods and then they're...yeah. Someone in my English class got told off today. I almost feel bad but his attitude keeps me from it," he admitted. Jin let out a soft laugh.
"You t-take English classes?" Jin asked, wanting to know more about this class. Although he didn't know why.
Bang Chan nodded. "Yes, I do. It's very fun," he said in English. "There's a lot of people in there who are good at it. I took it in middle school so I'm with all of the second-years," He switched back to Korean.
Jin took a minute to remember Bang Chan's accent. The Aussie was very obvious when he spoke English, but the second he spoke in Korean, it was back to how it's been all day. Jin took a mental note to ask about it later.
The freshmen changed the subject back to the so-called 'delinquent'. "He was fed up with these two girls in our class, Lisa and Jennie, who kept laughing at who knows what. Namjoon then tells them to shut up and do their work as the teacher told them to. Lia, another freshman, stood up for them and Namjoon started yelling at her too. The teacher finally stepped in, going like, 'Hey everyone, please settle down and do your work,'" Bang Chan obviously mocked the teacher. "But nobody stopped until the principal came in and took them all to the office,"
Jin wasn't surprised that Namjoon was the one who caused all the trouble. After the incident that morning, he knew that the teal-haired boy was definitely a troublemaker. Meeting Jackson gave Jin the reason that the two were perfect for each other.
The two finally reached Jin's front door. "Mom! I'm here," he yelled. He got a quick response from his mother before she came jogging down the stairs. She looked almost exactly like Jin in appearance; tall, plump lips, and jet-black hair. Bang Chan grinned at her as he reached out to shake her hand.
"Don't do anything dangerous," she reminded with a chuckle before letting the two boys go upstairs.
