The halls were still as loud and busy as they were the days before. Jin was making his way down the hall, still confused by the words Namjoon said to him a few minutes prior. He tightened his backpack straps and tried to get through the crowd as soon as possible.
Why would Namjoon hurt him? Why would he do it without wanting to? What makes Jackson so dangerous? Is Jackson controlling Namjoon? Is someone controlling Jackson who's controlling Namjoon? All of these thoughts ran through his head as he speedily made his way to the 'spot' that he shared with his newfound friends.
"Hey, Jin!" Bang Chan said excitedly to the older. His cheeks were a light tint of red as well, but Jin decided not to ponder on it. Jimin and Bang Chan went to go get food for the group, so it was just Jungkook and Jin alone.
There was an awkward silence for a minute or so until Jungkook started talking. "I think he likes you," the ravenette monotonously said without looking away from what he was reading. He was reading some newspaper, but it didn't look like the one from the school. He was probably viewing the one from the city. That's something Jin noticed about the boy. He was always either reading something or taking pictures of things.
Jin choked on his own spit for a few seconds. "W-what? Wait, w-who?" He sputtered out like always. Nobody would like a boy who can barely talk and isn't good at much.
Jungkook finally made eye contact with him, letting the older see that there was no lie in his statement. "Who else?" he asked, making it seem obvious who he was talking about. Jin was still confused and had no idea who would possibly like him. His mind was always too busy creating thoughts of self-doubt and work to even think about crushes, or love at all.
Just then, Bang Chan and Jimin came back to the table with four trays of food. "Speak of the devil," Jungkook whispered so only Jin could hear him. The senior's eyes widened and he realized who the sophomore was talking about.
It filled his mind for the rest of the day. Why would Bang Chan like him? Jin of all people. There were so many other people he could have, that was actually his type. The older would admit, Bang Chan was good-looking and seemed to be really nice, but something else seemed off.
He decided to force himself to not think about it because there was no actual confirmation that Bang Chan actually liked him. He wanted proof for himself. He wouldn't believe it unless the younger told him on his own. Then, Jin would cloud up his mind with the thoughts again.
The school day ended soon enough. Everyone made their way to either a club, a sport, or to the outside of the building to go home. Jin thought he would go home peacefully until he saw two familiar faces walk up to him. One of them looked quite uneasy while the other one seemed like he wanted to rip someone's head off.
