Chapter 11 Skyler and Sappy's farewell

After the battle on the new Jolly Roger,  Sappy and Skyler thanked Peter Pan for driving Hook away. They went back to the beach and said their good byes, the lost boys did not want Sappy to leave and she returned their feelings by hugging them back. Peter looked at Skyler and said "You know you could alway fly back the easy way, you don't have to return to the Tailgate winner," he said. 

"It's the Tailgate Spinner to you and Sappy's going to help me run my own boat," said Skyler "I'm actually glad you challenged me Peter. I have to admit I was jealous of you and Sappy for a moment but then I set my feelings aside to save her." 

"It was our teamwork that saved Sappy, Skyler," Peter retorted "haven't you had enough in one day.  Your plan worked by the way." 

Skyler and Peter shook on it setting their quarrels aside. Sappy smiled "I have to thank both of you, I'm ready to fly back to the Tailgate Spinner when you are." 

"So am I Sappy," said Skyler. 

"Alright Tinkerbell, give us some pixie dust," ordered Peter. Tinkerbell sprinkled pixie dust on Skyler, Sappy and the lost boys flying them out and away from the mystical island of Neverland. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The Tailgate Spinner had anchored in a spot on the open sea, Captain Greyham watched through his spyglass and Jacques looked at the sky. There were places where the ship had been damaged from the battle with Davy Jones. " Ahoy there Skyler,Sappy," called a lookout. 

Captain Greyham spotted Peter, Skyler and Sappy with his spyglass as the two adventurers landed on the main yard. "Thank you, Peter for showing us the way," said Sappy. 

"You are most welcome, my lady," Peter smiled "can you tell a story?" 

"I most certainly can," said Sappy. 

"Goodbye pal," said Skyler "I'm glad you showed us the way." 

"Glad to be of help to you and your expedition," said Peter "for there is an adventure everyday. Now I must be on my way." 

Peter flew away with Tinkerbell as Skyler and Sappy climbed down to the main docks. Captain Greyham and Jacques Plunkett greeted them and Skyler told them about the expedition and the shortcut. Jacques told Skyler about the pirates that attacked them and warned him that they could go no further. 

"It's time to sail back to London," called Captain Greyham "Now that Skyler and Sappy have returned." 

Later that night, Sappy and Skyler had a face to face conversation about what happened in Neverland. "So Sappy, if you could make a wish what would it be?" 

"I would wish to for the clock to turn back so that I stayed home in Edinburgh," Sappy smirked "however I'm glad to have joined you and Peter, the expedition had so many hidden treasures like that old abandoned pirate ship still sitting in that canyon we came across in Neverland and playing blindman's bluff with the lost boys." 

Skyler smiled "The captain told me he had a run in with pirates," he said "while we were exploring Neverland. They were attacked by Davy Jones an ally of Hook." 

"Will we make it back?" asked Sappy. 

"We make the journey back to London tomorrow and we shall be home again."
