Chapter 17 Zarina finds the key

Mr Smee was dusting Captain Hook's cabin and dusting the captains desk.  Until he caught sight of a tiny shimmer underneath the maps and scrolls on the desk. He lifted the maps and found a key the size of a thumbnail. He covered it back up and continued to hum, he was unaware of the presence of a pixie. 

Zarina was hiding under Captain Hook's desk and flew up she found the key. "I have to find Tinkerbell." she thought. She picked up the key and flew out the crack in the wooden door. 

"Captain,"said Smee. "I have a question for you? There was a a tiny key on your desk I cleaned your cabin today." 

"Oh I found it today," said Hook "that blasted boy escaped with my cabin girl." 

"Captain," said Mr Smee "are we going to find Peter Pan?" 

"Pipe up the crew, we're going ashore," said Captain Hook.

Zarina flew as far away as possible with the key in her hands. She found Tinkerbell with Peter and Sappy. "Tinkerbell over here," she called. Tinkerbell waved at Zarina and flew up to her. "What's that you have?" asked Tink. 

"Where is the crystal heart Tink?" asked Zarina "I found this on the new Jolly Roger." 

She carefully handed the key to Tinkerbell. "Thanks for finding the key, Zarina" said Tinkerbell and flew down to Sappy and Peter holding the key in her hand. "What's that you have there Tink?" asked Peter. 

"Zarina found the key to the crystal heart," jingled Tink to Peter giving him the key. Sappy was gazing up at the clouds when Peter approached her with the key. "What are you doing?" 

"Gazing up at the clouds," said Sappy "I like watching the clouds." 

"Wanna go chase some rainbows?" asked Peter "Tinkerbell found something you were looking for."  He held a tiny key in his hand and gave it to her. Sappy took the key inserted into the keyhole of the heart.

"Okay Peter I guess we're on the same cloud," Sappy shrugged. "and tell Tinkerbell I said thank you."  

Peter held his hand out to Sappy and she shook off the thought of becoming a cabin girl as she took his hand and weightlessly lifted her up into the air with him. They glided through the clouds and the rainbows, chasing away her fears.  The flight lasted for awhile but they landed back at the Neverspring. 

"Well that was fun," said Peter. "wanna explore s'more?" 

"No... but I had fun exploring today," said Sappy hesitantly " and maybe we could build a campfire and have a dance with the lost boys?" 

"Hey good idea Sappy," said Slightly "Let's invite Tigerlily too." 

 "Okay and then let's play hide and seek,"  said Nibs .

"Hey that sounds like fun and maybe Sappy can tell a story tonight," said Peter brightly.

"Okay I think I'm in the mood for telling a story," said Sappy walking toward the path that headed away from the Neverspring "but I don't know where to start."
