After Sappy and Peter left the glowing cave they went back to Hangman's tree. The lost boys were awake and ready for adventure.
"Where are we going today?" asked Cubby.
"How about we go to the Neverspring!" Said Slightly. "Maybe we'll find some..."
"Sounds like fun boys," said Peter "what's at the Neverspring?"
"We saw Neverdeer," said Nibs "there was a big herd."
While Peter was talking to the lost boys Sappy took the gem out of her pocket. She looked at the glowing crystal and saw a tiny keyhole on the surface. "I wonder why Hook wants me to be his cabin girl!" She thought.
She brushed off the thought and put the gem back in her pocket.

Meanwhile in Edinburgh by Sappy's cottage. Skyler watched the sky looking for Sappy to return. He wondered if she was still with the pirates.
"Come on, Saps," he said to himself "don't stay in Neverland for too long."

Back to Neverland...
Sappy played a game of follow the leader with the lost boys, they went through the forest, crossed a creek and entered a clearing by mermaid lagoon.
They swung on vines, skipped rocks while they were at it. Sappy forgot about the pirates and started to have fun.
One afternoon, while the lost boys, Peter, and Sappy were playing they arrived at a large spring. There was a herd of Neverdeer surrounding the sides of the spring.
There was a waterfall on the other side coming down from the mountains.
"Let's go explore the spring," Said Nibs.
"Maybe we'll catch a Neverdeer," said Slightly."and find a place to trap the pirates."
"Hold up men," said Peter "maybe we should ask Sappy what she wants to do."
"What do you want to do Sappy?" asked Cubby.
"I want to find out what's inside this glowing crystal heart," said Sappy . "I found in the crystal caves with Peter this morning. There's a tiny keyhole on the surface."
She took the heart shaped crystal out of her pocket and in the center was a tiny keyhole. Peter flew up to Sappy to take a closer look. "Looks like it belonged to a fairy once." He told Sappy "the key might be close by if we look."
"Oh, so this is the Neverspring?" Asked Cubby.
Sappy had a puzzled look on her face and started to walk along the banks of the spring. "Sappy where are you going?" called Peter.
"To find the key," Sappy answered.
