Chapter 10 the battle on the new Jolly Roger

Sappy glared at Hook, she was sitting in the captains quarters with her hands tied behind her back. "You have a choice my dear, join me or you shall never see your friends again." Hook growled.

"I refuse to be your cabin girl!" Spat Sappy narrowing her eyes "my friends are not stupid. Release me back to Pan at once."

"So you refuse me, why?" asked the captain "my suspicions tell me that you hold the key to the heart of Neverland and that Pan has entrusted it to you."

Sappy felt her heart drop. "What are you talking about! I have heard of no such thing," she snapped.

Hook circled her chair glowering down at her. Smee and the other pirates were listening to their fiery conversation.

Pan and Skyler hid in the shadows with the lost boys and Tinkerbell. "So what do we do?" asked Skyler.

"I'm going to fly ahead and look for Sappy, you and the other lost boys wait here," said Peter.

"Wait, I have a plan," said Skyler, "why don't we all sneak aboard and look for Sappy."

Peter nodded. "Alright but we have to move quietly," he said "come on."

Sappy had been untied, she went up to the crow's nest to avoid the pirates especially Hook. She looked up at the purple and orange clouds pointing out the end of the day. "Me a cabin girl," she  muttered " I'm going back to Skyler."

Peter and the lost boys started spying on the pirates. Skyler climbed up the rigging to go look for Sappy quietly. She peered out from the crow's nest to meet   two grey eyes peering at her. She recognized him.

"Skyler?" She asked.

"I came to rescue you Sappy, Peter and the lost boys are with me," explained Skyler his voice was like a whisper. "We're gonna get you out of here."

Sappy hugged Skyler. "Thank you for everything Skyler, this has been quite the adventure for me," she smiled sweetly. "You and I shall be sailing back to London soon."

Skyler smiled, Peter landed behind Skyler and Sappy "We need to get out of here now, nobody has spotted ...."

Skyler and Sappy released their embrace and turned to face the flying boy. But suddenly their happy moment was interrupted by a low devious voice.

"You made a deal with me Sappy, you can't leave the Jolly Roger now that you're a cabin girl. And you boy, have been caught like a mouse in a cat's trap," Hook growled.

"Let Sappy go, Hook you ain't fooling me this time," said Peter.

"Oh but you see Sappy holds the key to the heart of this island, I read an old scroll," Hook sneered.

Peter drew his dagger, "That's ridiculous I've never heard such a thing!"

Skyler narrowed his eyes and added in "Sappy's coming with us whether you like it or not," he declared "she's no cabin girl."

"What do you choose Sappy?" asked Peter "are you on their side or our side?" 

Sappy bit her lip nervously as Hook grabbed her by the arm. "It's obvious that she wants to be a cabin girl and sail away with me."

Sappy pulled her arm away from Hook and she stepped over to Peter almost falling down to the main deck. Pan caught her by the arm and pulled her behind him, he drew his dagger out of self defense.  "I'm on your side Peter, and I'm not a cabin girl." 

The lost boys were winning the battle below on the main deck. Peter gave Hook a daring glare. "Looks like you've lost you miserable old codfish. Sappy just gave you her answer!"

Peter threw Sappy toward the crow's nest and Skyler caught her. Then a duel broke out between him and Hook. Sappy looked into Skyler's. "I'm sorry Sappy I shouldn't have been jealous of your friendship with Peter."

"I forgive you Skyler, thank you for rescuing me. So are you and Peter friends now?"

"Well kind of," said Skyler "and after we win this battle with the pirates we are going back to the Tailgate Spinner. You and I shall live a life on the sea and command our own ship."

"I would like that ," said Sappy "very much."

Peter had parried Hook's blow and dodged his Hook. Tinkerbell started sprinkling pixie dust on Sappy and Skyler. The two friends started to float in the air. Peter's dagger flashed as he floated to the side. Hook lost his footing and fell into the ocean.

Peter crowed triumphantly as the crocodile sneaked up behind Hook and chased him away as Smee and the other pirates rowed away in boat never to return.
