Heart that hurts!

Sidharth was struggling with his emotions. He couldn't believe himself that he spoke those words. All hard hitting words was is the result of his out burst. Deep down He know how his Mira is. When Mira slapped him, it is when he came back to his senses. He then realised what destruction has he done.
He saw hatred for him in Mira's eyes.
He saw his Mira crying shaking & murmuring 'every thing is finished'.
It is when he realised how devestated she is. He thought what has he done in his rage? He was trying to understand the situation. All of a sudden Mira fall flat on the ground. He rushed to Mira, but she screamed to stop wherever he is standing. He lost all rights on her. She stood up with lots of difficulty. Her arm was bruised, she covered her bloody arm with saree drape.

She ran and marched out of room. Sidharth cannot leave her alone, he ran behind her. He stumbled and fall on floor. By then Mira was out of mansion. Sidharth stood up again. He saw Mira took an auto. Sidharth yelled Mira, but of no use. He ran behind the auto.

Mira!
Mira!
Mira!

Suddenly a speeding car hit him from behind and He fall on the road,
Last words he murmured before going into unconsciousness was "Mira!!" He huffed.

Next day after accident

Mira POV

With sunrays falling  through the window, I opened my eyes. The moment I moved my body , all I experienced was pain. Every cell of my body creating excruciating pain.  I am exhausted. I realised I slept on cold floor. I tried to wake up.with so much struggle I held my body in sitting position. I took back support of my bed. Past day event still fesh in my mind. My eyes watered again.
His words piercing my heart like a stab. I cried again. The humiliation and embarassment I felt yesterday cannot be explained in words. He insulted me. He called derogatory words to me. What i did to have such person in my life.
"I HATE YOU SIDHARTH OBEROI".
My eyes are now shedding angry tears.
"I will never forgive you. And I am leaving you and your place forever".

I took my mobile. I saw several missed calls. 15 missed calls from Sidharth, 23 missed calls from her mother, 4 missed calls from Rick.
I am done with these people. I blocked their number right away.

I dialed a number

"Hello, well I am Dr Mira Pradhan. I need to book an urgent flight to Chandigarh for tomorrow , in the evening."

I freshed myself and ate my breakfast. I packed my stuff.  I called dr. Raghavan and told him about my decision. I am resigning from meFine. He said he can't allow. I said it's private and I need to go Chandigarh as soon as possible. He granted me leave for a month. And said if you don't wish to work here then I should join meFine's other office. I said I will think about it. He also told me There is a professional fellowship on maternal anaemia, the American health care company recommend my name for the grant. It's a 6 month fellowship in the United States of America. I am elated with the news. I said yes to the offer. This is all I dreamed. To be the best in my field. It came as a blessing to me. I want to leave this place because of all dreadful events and this fellowship will help me to come out from the pain I experienced. I want no body at this point of time, I only want to focus on my career. After 30 days of leave , I will go straight to the USA for my fellowship. I also requested Dr Raghavan to not let anyone to know where I am going. I also requested not to tell anyone about my fellowship. Not even Rick. He said he won't. He assured me he will never let anyone know.

While making dinner for myself, my thoughts drifted to fellowship, a small smile formed on my lips,I worked hard for it. & I Didn't seduce any one for it, as he claimed.! suddenly my eyes were in tears again.

I wiped my tears, I switched on the television. While surfing the channel, I stuck to entertainment channel. They are covering Sidharth's and Shreya rumoured engagement. There are photos of them. Fans are wishing them for their best future. My heart broke into pieces again. I switched off the TV.
My phone rang twice, I picked up. It was my brother. He asked me about what's happening. I said nothing. He enquired me about Sidharth engagement. I said I wasn't in touch from past month. I lied to him.  He said how can it be possible. I said this is the truth. I cannot let my parents and brother to bother about me. I then told him I am coming back home. He was suspicious. I said i was given leave because I got fellowship in America. He was happy with news. He was convinced that I have priorities and i am focused in my career. I asked him not to tell anything about my arrival to my parents. I want to surprise them. To which he said yes.
When I hang up the call , I realised this is my family. They are my well wishers. They supported me through thick and thin. They never judged me. They care for me. I want to measure every scale of success for them. They are my everything actually, When yesterday I thought my everything is finished. With the thought I drifted to deep slumber. Its time for staying strong for the people who loves me.

City Hospital

Sidharth lying unconscious on hospital bed , with tubes and oxygen mask attached. He met with an accident. The running car that hit him took him to the hospital, he admitted him, paid the hospital fees and went from the site. Fortunately emergency specialist recognised Sidharth oberoi as he was his family friend. He called his mother. She came hospital crying. His manager shekhar asked doctor and other staff to not let anyone know about his accident. He has given hefty amount to the hospital to make sure no body release any news about Sidharth's accidental. People will try to malign his image and may call him a drunkard which can be devestating for his career.

Mrs oberoi tried to call Mira many times, but she didn't pick any call. After few try she given up. Her focus is now shifted to Sidharth. Her only son. She knew whatever is happened is happened because of his son's outrage. But this is not the right time to show anger. She will talk to him once he regains consciousness.

Hurting is painful, but giving up is more painful.

Mira is a strong girl. I love her.
Sidharth is wrong though but he has his reasons which is his insecurities. He will regret and see he is getting his karma.
