Mira POV

"So he has a girlfriend already"!

I came to my home after having dinner with Sidharth. It was quite a revelation. "He has a girlfriend! "

"Ok!! So what"

Is it Really ok.? My inner conscience asked.

"Yes its ok . And it's beyond ok". I made my heart understand.
"This is what I wanted. This is what I said to Nishi. Yes I am right. I can't date any actor".
Any??
"Ok he is a good friend. Handsome, respectful but a friend".

"I should focus on my work. I have to do my best in this hospital. I need to go back from this place and get myself settled in my native place. There is no room of distractions". I convinced my heart.

"And also, I ..... I .. s..s .should  stop meeting Sidharth. I don't want any controversy in my life."

Gosh, it pains I don't know why!

Sidharth POV

Every thing went silent when I said the lady in wallpaper is my girlfriend. We exchanged few words after that. It was a silence ride. I drove back to my home after dropping Mira .

I placed myself on bed and started remembering my well spent evening with her.

I laughed for few seconds , "how can she couldn't recognise HER PICTURE, She is so adorable".

yes it was Mira's canvas. I made it digitally after my success party. The photo is actually unrecognisable. No body can tell it's Mira's photo. Because in the pic ,her photo is black and white. And i have changed background as well. My heart skipped a bit when she saw my wallpaper.
But as expected even she couldn't recognise the photo. I mentally laughed on her antics.

"Was she hurt?"
She was happy hurt!! I think..
Was she hurt because she thought I didn't tell her about my non existing girlfriend. ?
"Second thought came into my mind, what if she stop talking to me realising I have a gf"?
"No. No.. no"..
I can't afford that.

I will clear this mess.
I scolded myself why did I lie?. I lied to her because I don't know if she like me or not or If she had somebody in her life.! I have to be very careful. I can't afford to lose her. Even if it's a friendship...
I will talk to her tomorrow. I saw her photo one last time before dozing off.

Mira POV

From past few days I was ingnoring Sidharth. I didn't meet him. I just focused myself in my work. No distractions. We chat on whatsup messager. But not like before.
He called me thrice , we talked normally. I always made excuse that  I am busy.
Today there is not message from his side. No good morning, no good afternoon.

I was sitting in my cabin when Nishi came.
We talked , and then during our conversation I told her about Sidharth's beautiful nri gf.
She was sorry for her misunderstanding. I said "it's ok"..

Sidharth POV

From past few days, I saw change in her behaviour. Is she ignoring me. It's me who initiates everything. Chat calls.. she is not responding well. She is extremely careful with Choice of words. It hurts. She said she is busy. I thought May be.
Today I didn't message her. As expected she didn't message me or call me.

That proves she is ignoring me.

I took my mobile and start typing

Sid: hey Mira I am coming to your hospital. Let's have dinner together.

Mira POV

Sid: hey Mira I am coming to your hospital. Let's have dinner together

My heart skipped a bit.
What will I do now.?
I am not going anywhere. I convinced myself. I waited for 10 mins then replied

Mira: hey Sidharth, can't come today. Schedule is tight in hospital. Sorry.

After 2 mins my notification pinged again
Sidharth: ohk no problem.

It hurts. Don't know why. But I can't let him close to me. It's wrong. He has a GF.

I packed my bag and start leaving the hospital. I booked a cab, reached reception. Signed the exit register.
Now I am outside the hospital waiting for cab..

"I thought you said you were busy".. I heard a voice.

I froze to the place where I was standing. ..
