The calm before the storm

You laugh, only to get interrupted by the teacher walking the room

The bell rings and lunch finally starts, your class slowly gets out the classroom while some stayed.

You get out going to the rooftop to sketch the scenery on there,

"I'm curious.. what college are you taking once we graduate?"

"I'm obviously taking art school" you replied to him
"I'm already assuming you're also going to art school so I'm not gonna ask"

"actually.. I'm planning to get a psychology degree.."
you were surprised at his words as you two were always interested in arts
"oh why's that?" you ask him also picking up the sketchbook he was holding earlier

"well I wanna understand human emotions more and alchemy sounds good too."

after some time you two eat together saying stupid stories to each other and sharing memes and playing games on your phone before class starts again.

the bell rings signalling that the last period is lasting soon, you got up inviting him with you but he refused saying he wants to stay a little longer you nod before going back to your classroom, you sit at your desk admiring the view from outside.

Time pass and he never attended class, you were a little down but you ignore it saying goodbye to the teachers you get ready to go home at it's that time again.

You organize your stuff at your lockers, getting ready to leave but you sat beside your lockers for a while waiting for him.

You two hang out for a while before saying your goodbyes, you walk to your home to get greeted by your mom.

You greet her back going to your room you immediately text him but no replies it was like he was ghosting you, you confused at first but you didn't mind it
You text your other friends and also play games with them.

After some rounds you shut off your computer going to your bed remembering that graduation is near.
worried that stuff with change once college comes but you just avoid that thought by remembering your current status.

You are smart, talented, have some decent looks, pretty popular at school and have many friends so there's nothing to get worried of.
