"Good morning, Y/n." Xiao says as he opens the window curtains.
You immediately get up from your bed and run to hug him, Xiao gets taken aback by your behavior but he slowly hugs you back.
"Did you miss me?" You nod, pulling away. Xiao gives you a half smile "So how do you plan to spend your day today?" "Just the usual I guess." "Going to random places it is then."
You prepare your motorcycle and you decide to drive xiao to some special place. "Where are we headed?" Xiao asks you "You'll see soon." You both stop for an ice cream break. ____________________________________
I wanted to ask about what xiao did on his break day but I decide to not proceed with it giving him his privacy.
After the ice cream break, you both just go to many different places with beautiful views till it turns nighttime.
"Hey xiao, close your eyes." Xiao did as you requested and you held his hand "What would you do if I were to deceive you and took you somewhere outrageous?" you laugh, copying what he said that one night.
"So then we're headed somewhere where one can see the beautiful sight?"
"Who knows."

"You can open your eyes now." Xiao looks in awe at the night city view. "May I interrupt this as a thanks for the night at the lake?" "You're free to interrupt it however you like." "Understood, I will interrupt it freely very much so." "No need to narrate to me."
Xiao looks at the firefly that landed on his hand, staring at it.
"Xiao." "Yes, what is it?" Xiao replied, he seems to be very happy with this place
"Why you'd lie?" I ask Xiao this, he tries to keep up his current mood but you know he was bothered and confused by this.
"I'm not entirely sure what you're talking about."
"Let me make it simpler then, was my life really worth 300,000 yen?"
"Of course it is, I'm sorry to say but your worth isn't simply much. I would have thought you'd accepted this a long time ago."
"Well I did, until last night." Xiao sighs "Did my substitute say something to you?"

You both sit on a grass field, looking over the night city There was a moment of silence for a while. "So how much was i really worth?"
"30 yen."
"Oh dear.. that's embarrassing I'm sorry for using your 300,000 yen the way I did."
"Indeed, I do wish that you have used the money for yourself. Thinking about it if I had just told you the truth perhaps you wouldn't have sold your lifespan. Then at least you would have lived a longer life. I apologize for my meddlesome deeds."
"That's not true, if you had told me that I was worth 30 yen I would have fallen to despair and sell everything off, even selling the 3 months."

Xiao replies looking at the sky with a smile on his face and with teary eyes. I stayed quiet, I didn't know what to say.
"You know y/n, there are also many lies I told you about besides your lifespan, and about albedo. For example about your lifespan being terminated if you caused others trouble was a lie And dying if you went 100 meters away from me was also a lie."
"They were all no more than ways to protect myself nothing but lies."

"Anything?" you glance at xiao

I then get close to xiao and first hugged him before cupping his face kissing him passionately.
I pulled away for a while, putting his head on my shoulder.
"That was quite terrible.. now after you've done that I know I'll never forget you." Xiao says hugging you back.
You hum "Mourn for me lots when I die."
"If you're alright with it then until I die, I'll keep doing that."

So I decided, I would pay xiao's debt in full no matter what it took, even if I had less than two months left it was then that I finally found an objective for my meaningless last months.
