"Okay, let's get this starting!"
You yell as you drive a duck expecting to go full speed only for it to go very slow.
Xiao laughs at you driving a duck boat
He oddly finds it hilarious.

"Is it really that funny?

"I mean the people around us probably sees a grown female/male just driving a duck alone while yelling."

As you drive slowly you look around the cherry blossom petals falling,
it was somewhat a saddening thought that you would never see cherry blossom again, nor winter, nor summer.

But looking at xiao smiling beside me
those thoughts stopped mattering.

Over the next few days,
you've just spent it with xiao making new memories with him.

"Let's go try the horsey carousel!" you happily say at Xiao as he nods following behind you.

The people around the amusement park give you weird looks but you didn't mind

Everything you aren't supposed to do alone, like riding a horse with a carriage on the back
riding a ferris wheel, you did alone.
At least that's what the people saw
but to you, you were doing it all with Xiao.

Xiao nods, he was also having the happiest days of his life.

During your date at the aquarium both of you took many photos and bought a plushie to cherish this moment.

The next day the both of you went to a public swimming area.
You wait for xiao as you sit on one of those swimming seat thingies, he
gets out seemingly embarrassed at what he's wearing.
He's just wearing some plain swimwear with a hoodie.

"Hmm, what are you embarrassed for?"
"People, that's what."
"Oh, don't worry about that
They can't even see you!"
"Right.. I still feel a bit embarrassed though."

"Also don't worry about your swimwear, you look handsome as always."

I would actively say xiao's name while walking with him, holding eyes with him, making eye contact with him and generally insist on her existence.
I didn't notice at the time but I was gradually becoming an infamous celebrity since it was rather a small town.

"What's this all of the sudden?"

Xiao recalls the date you both had yesterday and remembering the couples calling each other nicknames so he said he wanted to try it too.

You nod "Then shall I call you my honeycomb bunch?"

Giving you the signal that you probably shouldn't call him that.
You cough, "Anyways about that question earlier, is there anything you want me to do for you?"
Xiao shakes his head "There isn't. you have done plenty enough for me already,

You both repeat this 3 times before Xiao finally gives in.

"Hmm.." Xiao thinks carefully
"Hey why don't we meet your old friend?" You suggest to him
He hesitates for a bit before saying yes, he did wanna see his childhood before he died after all.
"I exactly can't meet them since they can't see me but sure."

You both ride a bus
and you lay your head on his shoulder watching him be in deep thought.
He must be preparing himself to see aether/lumine so you stay quiet.

After some time of trying to look for the traveler, you both finally see them in a train station.
When xiao first saw them he hid behind you. before finally getting the courage to go up and look at him up close.

You examine them from afar and you immediately recognize the blond attractive looking stranger was the
childhood friend Xiao was talking to you about.

They were reading some kind of book and by their attire and facial expression you could tell he wasn't waiting for a train, but for someone else.

You decide to sit on a bench nearby and observe xiao's behavior, he was just standing still there
watching the traveller
Some time pass by..

A girl? boy? with black braided hair and green locks greet the traveler alongside a boy with a weirdly shaped bowlcut or wolf cut following behind, another boy but this time he had white long hair with red streaks,
They all silently walk by xiao,
Talking happily to each other about random things.

You slowly walk to xiao and softly held his hand
"I'm glad they're happy." Xiao says
holding your hand but more tightly.

Xiao then walks you both to a quiet isolated place, he then quickly kisses you before quickly pulling away out of embarrassment.
