Sim Soo-Yun was probably going to land herself in another week's worth detention the next day.

As soon as she had landed her feet on the school grounds, her mood had turned sour due to her small fight with her father ( who had yelled at her for only making eggs and toast again for breakfast).

And Soo-Yun could only ask him politely, and please note the sarcasm, that she didn't have much time everyday so he could order whatever he wanted and eat if he didn't like the breakfast she makes.

It wasn't like they were running low on money and she didn't understand why her father was being so sulky about her mother leaving.

It had happened years ago and Soo-Yun was used to it by now. Why couldn't her father get over it? She wondered, slumping in her seat.

She stared at her nails, boring herself even more. She sighed and looked around, finding An In Ho staring at her with a dazed look.

She raised an eyebrow, amused and placed her chin on her palm, staring back at the boy until he would realise and snap out of it.

Once he did, Soo-Yun clicked her tongue to stop herself from laughing at his red cheeks, which only seemed to get redder by the passing second.

He coughed, loosening his collar and looking towards the door. Soo-Yun bit her lip, knowing the teacher had just saved the boy from further embarrassment and fluster.

She sighed, pulling out her earphones and shuffling her music before falling into a peaceful sleep. She couldn't lie about it though, about how she fell asleep better in school than her bed in her house.

The bell rung and Soo-Yun still didn't seem to wake up. An In Ho decided he'd let her for herself because she didn't seem to be in a mood and another class passed just like that.
