Sim Soo-Yun walked down the busy street, her hood up with earphones plugged in and some music blasting in her ears.

A sigh escaped her lips as she reached familiar tall building and stepped in, heading towards the lift down t
he lobby.

She didn't know why she always came to that place when she felt like she wanted to set herself free. She always stood at the top of the building to get rid of the suffocation.

As she reached the top, she stepped out and closed the door behind her, making her way towards the edge.

She climbed up and sat on the boundary, her legs hanging and swinging back and forth, hitting the wall with soft thuds.

The sun was down and it was already a dark night. Grey and black clouds disappeared in the dark sky, only a few glowing through with the help of the moon and stars glistening in the free space.

Her hood fell off due to the air, letting her hair sway carelessly in various directions.

Multiple thoughts clouded her mind. Her mother, her past, her present and what her future would be like.

She never got to know Dong Mi Hi, her mother and she wasn't looking forward to even see her. The hatred she felt towards her own mother was way too strong that she didn't want to ever come across her.

She still wondered why she left her the way she did. Was it only because of the money, or there was some other reason.

Soo-Yun glanced at her hands, her wrist particularly and sighed. " I have many questions, but I also don't want them answered. Especially, not from you. "

She whispered, a single tear rolling down her delicate cheek. She wiped it away as quickly as it escaped.

" You're not trying to jump, are you? "
