The Battle of New York

The control panel of the jet started beeping and flashing Red. It was a phone call. Natasha swiped up and a Hologram of Tony popped up in front of her.

"So, Good News and Bad News. I'll tell you the Good News first. I found Thor. He's here fighting his brother."

"And the bad news" said Natasha.

"Loki, opened the portal. So it would be really helpful if you could hurry your asses up."

"Don't worry Tony, we're here now."

Natasha turned the steering device and the jet swiftly turned to the right, flying over countless skyscrapers and apartment blocks. Y/N leaned forward in her chair to see the sky was flooded by the Chitauri Army. 

"There's Thor!" Exclaimed Clint.

"Time to shoot." replied Natasha.

She steadied the jet into position and released the guns by the touch of a button. But it wasn't quick enough. Loki pointed the spear towards the jet, sending a blast to the engine, causing them to crash.

"We're going down" said Natasha as she desperately tried to steady the jet.

Y/N squeezed her eyes shut and prepared for impact. They hit the ground with a large thud and slid across the road until a building steadied their jet.

Y/N felt disorientated and her nose was bleeding. Steve quickly unbuckled his seatbelt and ran towards her.

"You good?"

"Yeah, you could help me up though."

He held out his hand for Y/N and lifted her up and out of her seat. When standing, she wiped away the blood trickeling from her nose and made sure that all of her weapons were still in place. 

"Time to get out there and fight, You ready Y/N?"

"Ready as I'll ever be."

Natasha opened the jet door as the 4 ran out yielding their weapons, ready for battle. The Chitauri were scattered all of the place. Y/N immediately ran to the left and kicked one off the bridge and onto the tarmac below. The other she impaled with her sword and then stomped on it's chest in order to aid her in yanking it back out. The sword was covered in a strange purple goo. Unlike the blood she was used to seeing. She looked around to see if anyone needed any assistance. Tony was in the air. Steve had ran off. Clint was shooting them with Natasha by his side doing hand to hand combat. Y/N wielded both her swords at the same time and ran towards more of the Chitauri troops, screaming a battlecry as she did. Two ran at her at the same time, but left no scratches on her as she sliced their stomachs whilst running by. Another tried to shoot her as she ran towards it, but she jumped over the blast and onto the aliens' shoulder, Stabbing it in the head as she did so. Y/N decided to get some height on a car and fight from a distance for a while to work out if anyone had a plan. "Does anybody copy? What's our plan here?"

Steve was the first to reply. "I say we all meet on the ground, figure something out."

Tony spoke next. "Good, because I'm bringing the fight to you."

Y/N shook her head at the thought of what that meant. However, she was relieved when she saw Cap run back around the corner. Thor wielding his hammer, landed shortly after him. 

"Damn, brother. He escaped on a chitauri hovercraft."

"This is useless, we're outnumbered." Y/N exclaimed.

"Not Exactly," said Steve turning to look at a man driving towards them on a motorbike.

Y/N quickly realised it was Bruce.
