Monsters - Loki x Reader Fanfiction.

Goodbye.

Eventually Thor stopped the ship on top of a sandy mountain. He looked at the others and nodded as confirmation that they had arrived. Loki held Y/N's hand and led her off of the ship as did Thor with Jane after gently shaking her awake. Y/N did not know how to feel after her kiss with Loki, she agreed with Thor in the fact that there was tension between them, sexual tension. But she still felt ashamed that she had caught feelings for Loki. However, could she really judge him on his past mistakes when she too was a mass murderer? Maybe that's what made them a good match. Whilst she was kissing him, a million thoughts raced through her head. But one was most prevalent, the Future. Loki's was to return to a life imprisoned, hers was to return to Earth eventually. Soon they were to be separated. But, she wasn't completely disheartened, she thought of maybe suggesting that the pair run away together after the mission, retreat to a small country on Earth, where they can lay low. But she decided to keep quiet for now, as she seen the dark elves leaving their ship, staring at her and the others.

"Let's go" said Thor to Loki.

"You know this plan of yours is going to get us killed?"

"Maybe" said Thor.

"Indeed." Loki pulled out a knife from his pocket and stabbed Thor with it, causing him to tumble down the mountain. Jane screamed out his name, Y/N imagined they didn't tell her the plan to make it seem more realistic. Y/N shouted Loki's name to play along. As Thor reached the bottom of the mountain he scrambled along the floor. Loki slid down after him and as he saw Thor reaching for his hammer he sliced his hand clean off. Jane ran down the mountain after calling out Thor's name, when she reached him she lay over his body, trying to shield him from Loki. Y/N followed them down the sandy hill and as she did Loki grabbed Jane away from Thor, calling on Malekith, the leader of the dark elves as he did so. 

"Malekith, I am Loki of Jotunheim and I bring you a gift." He forcefully threw Jane to the ground. 

Jotunheim?  Y/N thought to herself. Isn't that where the frost giants live...?

"I ask only one thing in return, a good seat from which to watch Asgard burn."  

A huge, masked creature began to speak to Malekith in some Elven language. Y/N recognised him as the monster who broke out of the Asgardian Prison earlier that day. Although she could not tell what they were saying, she knew the act was tricking them. Malekith looked at Loki and then down to Jane. He moved his hand, which somehow raised Jane into the air. When she was floating above them all, he began removing the Aether from her body with telepathic powers. The red sludge left her body slowly until it had collected into a puddle in the middle of the air. Malekith then abruptly dropped Jane to the ground.

As the Aether floated in the middle of the air between them all, Thor shouted "Loki Now!"

A blast of yellow magic came from Loki's hand, and suddenly Thor's fake body with the severed hand flushed away to reveal his true form. He opened his hand and when his hammer had reached it he ran towards the Aether and blasted it with the collected Lighting from his hammer. Y/N took a step back as Loki ran to cover Jane from the blast. The Lighting struck at the Aether for a few seconds before causing it to completely explode. As the dust settled, Y/N could tell that this wasn't over. Her thoughts were quickly confirmed as she seen red shards rising from the ground all around her, forming into one huge amount of matter in the sky hovering over Malekith, before violently entering his body, making him even more powerful than he was before. He looked angry, and gave a signal to his soldiers as his eyes lit red which beckoned a squadron to approach the group with weapons ready, before walking away in the direction of his ship. The monster looked over at Jane and Loki, then released some kind of grenade from his pocket which Loki quickly realised to be a danger. He once more, shoved Jane out of the way as the grenade created a mini black hole which Loki could not control being sucked into. Y/N cried out to Loki, and then looked to Thor who nodded at her before flying into Loki and releasing him from the pull of the black hole which soon after, closed in on itself.
