The Convergence

Dr Selvig stopped the car outside of a University in Greenwich. Darcy, Ian and Y/N were in the back of the car and Jane was sitting on Thor's lap in the front. There wasn't enough seats for all of them but the group decided that Thor could deal with the weight of another person throughout the journey. Dr Selvig got out of the car first, followed by the rushed but excited trio in the back.  

"Okay, here's the plan kids, Darcy and Ian, take these devices and plant them around the site, Dr Foster and I will stick together, and use this remote to activate them."

Dr Selvig looked to the sky, and everyone's eyes followed his. A flock of birds above them flew peacefully, and then through some sort of portal, causing them to disappear. As if they never existed in the first place. 

"It's here."

Almost on queue, Y/N heard the sound of screams coming from the grounds of the university. She ran around the corner and climbed the fence to get some height. She didn't need it. She could clearly see that large Elven spaceship flying down over London. 

"The elves are here."
"Go, go now!" shouted Selvig.

Thor ran towards Y/N after kissing Jane goodbye and telling her to stay safe. He wielded his hammer, swinging it in circles, creating a propeller and giving himself the ability to fly. As he glided past Y/N he reached his other hand down and carried her to the grounds where the spaceship was charging through to park itself. She was scared, at least in New York, there was a group of them to fight beside. Now it was solely down to her and Thor. 

"You ready?" he asked.

"No, not really." 

"Okay, I'll handle Malekith, you stay behind me and deal with his soldiers. You're a better fighter than they are."

She breathed out "Okay."

The ship was now completely stationary in front of them and it's door was opening. Y/N prepared herself to see Malekith again. The man, partially responsible for the death of Loki. But she didn't have time to decide if she were ready or not, he was now in front of the pair. Thor looked back at her and nodded, which beckoned her to yield her sword. In the other hand, she held her shield. Thor yelled a battle cry and ran towards Malekith, with hammer in hand. 

Y/N watched as the pair fought, Thor hitting Malekith with his hammer, Malekith blasting him with the power of the Aether. She feared for Thor as Malekith seemed to be way more powerful. But she knew she had to stick to her job. She ran towards some of his soldiers, slicing them in the stomach with her sword and blocking their attempted hits with her Shield. She hadn't ever really used a Shield before, but she was good at it, perhaps she could steal Steve's job. Y/N tried her best to battle and kill all of the soldiers who challenged her, Thor also helped whilst fighting Malekith, sending his hammer round the grounds to hit them, but there was too many. Then suddenly, they started disappearing group by group. Y/N looked up to the University building and seen Jane smiling at her with the remote device in her hand. Y/N smiled back to say Thank You and then killed the remaining soldiers who were in front of her. She once again looked over to Thor to see if he had made any advances on killing Malekith, but they were still in combat with one another. And then Malekith blasted Thor across the grounds. Y/N looked around unsure what to do, but finally settled on keeping him occupied whilst Thor got himself together. She ran toward Malekith, with the blood covered blade pointed towards him. He wasn't looking at her, she was about to get the best sneak attack on him. She jumped onto his shoulders, and before he could realise what was going on, she stabbed him in the chest, through the gap between his chestplates. Y/N couldn't see his reaction, but she knew he was angry when he screamed in pain, clasping his hands into fists and blasting her off of his shoulders with the power of the Aether. She was launched across the grounds and hit against the concrete of the sandstone pillars. Pain surged all through her body, she could barely move and her eyes began to close.
