Monsters - Loki x Reader Fanfiction.

Origin Story.

The base they were raiding was in Switzerland and hidden in the forest. The tall green trees were decorated with fluffy white snow, as was the ground. Y/N stepped out of the jet and breathed in the air around her. It was cold and crisp and the forest was peaceful. 

"Wish I brought a coat, it's freezing." exclaimed Y/N.

"You'll heat up soon." said Steve, "We got a lot of work to do. Y/N, Tony's gonna drop you and Natasha off on the roof. You'll be able to enter the base through the door up there. Natasha will deal with the Guards, you just focus on extracting the energy. Thor, Clint and I will distract the guards out front, try and draw them out of the building and away from the energy. Tony will search the building for the scepter. Hulk will take care of the small bases surrounding the big one. "

"Sounds like a plan."

"Bruce you ready?" asked Steve.

"I guess so." he sulked for a bit before transforming into the Hulk.

"Right, let's go." Steve pointed which signaled everyone to take their position. Tony picked Natasha and Y/N up and flew them towards the base, dodging shots fired from small bases surrounding the area. He flew close to the rooftop and dropped them both, the pair landed gracefully and were met by troops of guards running towards them both. Natasha tazed some with her high tech bracelets. Y/N stuck with her favourite weapon, slicing most of them before they got the chance to shoot her, until the pair had whittled the enemies down to a few. Natasha told Y/N to go get the energy source whilst she dealt with the rest of the guards. Y/N followed Natasha's orders running down the many stairs until she reached the first level. She communicated with Tony through comms.

"Tony, I'm in the base, where's the heat signature for the Energy?"

"Checking now, Jarvis?" said Tony. 

"I've found the heat signature which matches the energy, located on 4th floor, on the left side of the building Sir. But there is also heat signatures for 5 people in the same room."

"Thanks Jarvis, you catch that Y/N?"

"Got it Tony."

Y/N ran down the stairs of the building until she reached the floor Jarvis had told her to go to. She took a deep breath, and prepared to enter with sword in hand before busting the door down. Her entrance was met by 5 men in suits shooting at her, she slid across the floor dodging the bullets and kicking two's legs out from underneath them. As they fell to the ground she stood up and sliced the stomach's of two that ran towards her, unarming them of their guns and using them to shoot the two on the floor and the remaining one that ran toward her shooting. 

"Okay, I've taken care of the guards, gonna extract the energy now." 

"Yup we're just about wrapped up here too Y/N. Any sign of the scepter Tony?" replied Steve.

"Nope, no scepter here. Sorry guys."

"Well it's not a complete loss, at least this energy won't end up in the wrong hands." Y/N walked towards the glass compartment, watching as the purple energy swirled about inside. She pressed the button on Tony's extractor device and held it to the glass. The button caused it to stick to the glass and cut a hole open to extract the energy from. Y/N waited as it done this, until is beckoned her to press a button to start the extraction.

"Okay, Just about to start, shouldn't take long and then you can come and take me back to the jet Tony."

"Um, Sir." spoke Jarvis. "There seems to be a heat signature making it's way towards Y/N. It's carrying a weapon which is giving off large amounts of radiation."
