💫 A Brief History of Magic #1 💫

All people are born with a certain level of magic. Some weak, some strong. Orphans, like the Grace Field students, are more magically blessed than those with happy families because they tend to have stronger emotions and reactions. In order to channel magic into a "physical" form, most wizards and witches have to use a wand, or conduit. Though extremely rare, there are very few who can use magic without their wands. Only the first three wizards of the three core elements were known pure magic users. Pure magic is the product of either extreme control and mastery of one's emotions, or that person completely losing it and all control of themself. I wonder what pure magic users we've heard of...

Another very rare thing in wizards are those gifted in multiple elements. Ray is proficient in both pyro and dendro. Emma is a pure dendro affinity, and Norman is a pure hydro affinity. Their grades reflect their specialties, as Ray cannot study hydro for shit. Norman is sufficient in dendro and pyro, while Emma is barely getting by with y/n and Norman's help. y/n, for some reason is excelling in both subjects that aren't her affinity. Perhaps it has something to do with her upbringing and trauma? Or maybe she's a special case no one has ever seen before...
