Kyun throws his head back laughing.
"Wow!", he says sarcastically. "Strong words for someone who just disappeared and—"

"Shut the fuck up!", you interrupt him and feel the anger building up inside of you again.

You knew he'd be here. Mila warned you. He's Wonho's best man and you were so convinced you could handle this, could handle him. You never thought after all these years he'd still be such a trigger for you.

"That's how we know you!", he smirks. "Always the one with the dirtiest mouth!"

"Enough!", Hyungwon growls and raises from his chair. You watch him turning around to Kyun and talking to him. But it's too loud, you can hear shit. You feel Kyun's dark gaze on you, while he clenches his jaw. How you'd love to jump on him and punch his face right now.

"Sit here, Hun!", Mila smiles, grabs your wrist and makes you sit down next to her, far at the other side of Kyuns spot. You gulp heavily and look around as you feel Jooheon patting your hand. Smiling you look up and see him sitting there, his arm around a girl ... your jaw drops.

"H-Hannah?", you ask stunned and rip your eyes open. The girl and Jooheon look at each other and laugh.

"Told you she'd recognize you!", he smirks and his girlfriend laughs.

"So nice to see you again, y/n!"

For a long moment you stare at both of them. You can't believe he's dating her. You never liked her much. "Hate" is a big word but... yeah well...
But you wouldn't dare to judge. Five years is a long time and people can change.

"A-and you and Honey?", you ask confused. "I mean...?"

Hannah nods and squeals excited as she reaches out her hand to you. "We're even engaged!"

Gasping you grab for her hand and pull it closer. "Holy crap what a ring!"

You're not sure whether you like this or not. But this ring really screams I love you from every rooftop in this town.

"Congrats!", you lift your head from her hand and smile at Jooheon "I'm so happy for you..."

Hannah smirks, lays her hand on Joo's cheek and kisses him softly. Smiling you turn to your best friend. "Are you and Wonho the first ones that...?"

"Nooo!", Mila shakes her head and nods across the table. "Shownu is already married. Kiki as well.."

"Two years now, baby!", Ki smirks and pulls his wife closer. Caroline. You definitely remember her. They were already dating in high school. Just like Wonho and Mila.

"Congrats!", you smile and try the hide the fact how disappointed you are that you weren't invited to their weddings. You would've loved to be there. But.. what did you expect? You can be happy they're still talking to you...

Sitting here, with the only guy you've ever loved and all your friends in their long-term-relationships, engaged, or married... is a hard pill to swallow. They're all so damn young, why are they moving so fast?

The more alcohol you drink the more you manage to shut out all of this. You even find yourself smiling smugly since you're probably the only one in this crap-town that has ever seen the world and knows how it turns. You even feel pity for them. This can impossibly be what they expect from their lives?
Marriage.
You scoff inwardly. As if love would be the solution for everything. Well... you've been there too, though. There was a time you thought when you're in love... having someone to fight the world with, that this is all you needed...
