Bathing suits

Emily's POV:

I woke up bright and early this Saturday morning.

First I wanted to get in some good exercise, going to the parka and running a couple miles for example.
Also today is the day of the girls hot tub party I was so graciously invited to.

I got out of bed with surprisingly a lot of energy, which isn't very usual for me especially in the early mornings.
I deprived myself of my sleep clothes, replacing them for short short biker shorts, and a red tank top that didn't show too much, but showed just enough cleavage.

Brushing my teeth and putting on the finishing touches of myself, including pulling my hair back I walked into the kitchen to grab my essentials before leaving.

When Apollo and I were out just exploring the city more since I'm still a little unfamiliar with it, they showed me this lovely park that was just 4 or 5 blocks away from my apartment.

Once I finally got to the park from being stuck in horrible D.C. sidewalk traffic, I got there putting in my AirPods before shuffling my Apple Music playlist and beginning my jog.

I found a lovely trail that was in the back of the park along the woods.
Now I know you are thinking Emily, that's usually where people get murdered. Lucky for me I'm fast.

I was continuing running when I swore I heard my name being called from a little ways behind me.
I turned around to find yet again, Mrs. Jennifer Jareau.

"Hey stranger what are you up to?" She asked catching up to me.

"Running." I giggled.

She chuckled back and we continued to jog along each other's side at a nice steady pace.

"So are you going to the hot tub party later?"  She asked me.

"Are you?" I asked back.

"I asked first, but yes." She said smiling.

"Oh, so am I." I awkwardly smiled back.

We continued to run the trail for a while,
Seeing as it was 8 miles long.

"But it's too cold for you here." JJ lightly sung to herself.

I stopped dead in my tracks.

"What?" JJ asked a little ahead of me from my slight pit stop.

"N-Nothing I-just I just thought you were singing sweater weather." I said continuing to run right past her.

"Oh..I am?" She asked quizzically. "Wanna listen to my running playlist with me?" She asked.

"S-Sure." I choked on my words as she handed me an AirPod.

We continued to run. Come to find out JJ had a lot of queer bating songs on her playlist.

"So where are you off to now?" She said walking over to her car.

"Probably swim suit shopping." She chuckled at me.

"You're cute. Come on since you walked here I'll drive you." She said signally to the passenger seat.

"No, no really it's fine I only live a couple blocks-"

"Prentiss get your ass in this car, I have to buy a new swim suit anyways." She joked starting the car.

I hung my mouth open for a second, before taking a place in the passenger seat.

"S-So how are things with you and Will." I asked sadly.

"Ehh it's touch and go you know, with our work being so far apart." She said.
