❝ Distances should be kept because too much attachments blow them apart ❞
When the world is trying to keep its distance Ahana, the 'mother' of the class with her 'lemony' nature and the blue streak which she hides catches feelings for the new boy, I...
Transfer. For so many years they were living in the same city, everything was settled and planned for Ahana. She would finish her 12th grade from here and go to the renowned University located in their city.
'But then why? Why all of a sudden everything was falling apart? Why!?!', Ahana thought to herself and dribbled the basketball more vigorously making it bounce more wildly and at a point, it missed from her grip.
Shizzles! she watched the ball bounce at the other side of the court from where Arushi took the ball and an agitated Ahana sauntered outside of the court to sit at the benches.
After getting changed in her school uniform, Ahana stepped inside 10-A class with the duffle bag containing her sports kit and a blank expression in place of the bright smile adorning her lips.
She hanged the duffle bag on the small hanger beside her table and sat on her seat laying her head on her arms.
Abhaya entered the class with Dev beside him, they were immersed deeply in a conversation about Sasuke and Light from the animes when the former noticed Ahana, the rowdy-est of them sitting with her head down.
"Oye Chotu", Abhaya asked in his calm voice sitting on the desk beside her but kept his social distance. Dev sat on the desk in front of them with his body slightly turning behind.
Hearing Bhaya'svoice and some movements beside her, Ahana lifted her head and looked at them and her dullness of dark clouds faded away watching her two sons(pun intended) in her life.
(Bhaya is Abhaya's nickname. Go to chapter two to know the reason)
"You forgot it today too?", Dev asked Ahana.
"What?", her confused self asked back.
"Your brain", Dev answered to which the three of them had a hearty laugh causing few heads in their class to turn toward them.

"Students! submit your holiday homework notebooks on my desk", Ms.Kaveri asserted to the class of 10 A.
Listening to this Ahana bent on the side of her desk to search for her Physics notebook, which she was aware she had in her school bag.
English.Chemistry.History.... Ahana checked the notebooks but the certain Physics notebook she was looking for wasn't in her bag.
'Where did it go?' she thought to herself and started looking for it in her other pockets but got nothing.
'Why does it have to happen to me!?!'

It was evident on Ahana's features that she was having a rough day and getting the memo, friends kept their distance while real friends tried to help with their lame jokes and silly expressions throughout the day.
At the moment Dev and Abhay were giving each other silent indications contemplating their next joke while Ahana was sitting on her desk and breathed out a sigh of despair.
Her throat felt dry and she looked for her water bottle under her desk to come in contact with some foreign item that she knew she hadn't kept there. She frowned but took it out nonetheless, to found a packet of chocolate gems she didn't remember buying, then 'who gave it?'

I wonder who might have given it
