ASHER

Nothing has been more exciting than having Karen walk down the aisle towards me. Her dad holds her hand in his white suit and even though I can't see her face so well, I know she has it bowed. I just wish she can raise it up so I'll see her beautiful smile.

It is so amazing to know she is gonna be a part of me forever. And I want to assure her that I will not let her down again. Today is going to mark a new unforgettable beginning for us.

Words cannot even express how excited I am to see her in her customized wedding dress which has white iced stones almost everywhere. It's my first time seeing her this gorgeous and beautiful.

Oh lawd, please make her walk faster so I can say "I do"

Now I feel like crying for her. She still had a welcoming heart for me after all I put her through and the troubles she had found herself in because of me.

I already made up my mind to make this day a special day for her. Everywhere is tightly secured and nobody can come in without a signed invitation card. Including little children.
If it's for the assurance, then I am going to give it to her one hundred percent. I will never let anything hurt her at all. I will give her all of me. I am not going to hide anything from her at all because I sincerely need her trust and I am going to make sure I will try my best not to mess up this time.

I want her, I still want her, I have always wanted her and now that her father has given me the right to have her, I will never let them down again or make her cry or ever try to hurt her. Never going to lay my hands on her, never make Royal cry, never refuse whatever is going to make them happy forever because now it's time for me to pay back for everything I've let them been through alone. I am going to be here as a father, husband, friend and best friend. I am sure I will be overprotective this time around because I cannot risk losing Karen to anything at all. If I lose Royal, I lose Karen and if I lose Karen, I lose Royal. If I lose the both, I lose everyone so this is me getting ready to be the best they both can ever ask for.

Finally, she is up here on the altar with me and she looks at me from her veil. Her smile is so beautiful and better than summer. Who wouldn't want to have her?

It is so unbelievable all this is going on right now. I know I am a guy but I think I need to cry on her shoulder and take every oath with the last strength in me. Even before the priest can say anything first, I kiss her finger. It's exciting to know that diamond finger is going to be worn around the most beautiful fingers ever, and that finger is to show she's all mine. I'm even more excited than a baby, but yet nervous.

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today in the presence of these witnesses, to join Mr Kennedy Asher and Miss Karen Andrews in matrimony commended to be honored among all; and therefore is not to be entered into lightly but reverently, passionately, lovingly and solemnly. Into this - these two persons present now come to be joined. If any person can show just cause why they may not be joined together - let them speak now or forever hold their peace."

Sienna can forever hold her peace.

There is the opening reading and prayer which I wish will not take long but it does anyways.
The priest gives a little preaching about wedding and it's finally time for us to take our vows. I'm going first.

"Repeat after me," the priest says. "I promise to be good to you in good times and in bad..."

"I promise to be good to you in good times and in bad."

I think these tears will drop.

"I, Asher Kennedy," I keep saying after the priest. "Take you, Karen Andrews, to be my lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part."

"I, Asher Kennedy, give you, Karen Andrews, this ring as an eternal symbol of my love and commitment to you."

"In the name of the father, and of the son, and of the Holy Spirit."

"Thank you," she exhales.

It is her turn now to take her vow. Her voice is so sweet and lovely.

While she says every word, my eyes get watery and then she notices my eyes are getting watery, hers gets watery too.

I bow my head and place my hand, which is folded in fist, on my mouth. I sniff.

"By the power vested in me as the officiant of this wedding, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride."

There is an applaud as I take off the veil to kiss her. Our tears meet with each other while our lips are pressed against each other.

"I present to you Mr and Mrs Asher Kennedy!"

Even though I cannot see the crowd clearly, o know there is a standing ovation. A hymn is being sung afterwards.
