The door was opened-allowing anyone to see directly what is going on in the room 246-nothing much really. "Shota-san," Itsuki called, concerned-speeding his way to Aizawa who's sitting on the couch with his legs crossed, reading a book called 'Teaching Methods for Dummies'. Yes, Emi left the birthday present he got her. Not that it mattered, he thought-turning to the next page.
Aizawa turned an eye at him with a soft smile, "What is it now, Itsuki?"
"You're not supposed to take it all off, especially not when you're all alone," Itsuki pulled a bunch of breathing machines and IV closer to the couch Aizawa is on. Aizawa rolled his eyes. This whole conversation is going to be the death of him. "Tell me what you really want to say, pink-smiley-plaster-under-the-eye-boy," he uttered-knowing exactly whose it was. Aizawa placed the book away without marking the page he was in-not that he planned to read it all later.
Itsuki left the machines half-way as he decided to sit beside Aizawa just a foot away. "What did you say to Emi, Shota-san?" he uttered slowly-not willing to overstep. Aizawa sighed then grinned, "What I need to say."
Itsuki took a brief doubtful moment before saying, "I think you're being selfish Shota-san, Emi was very sad." Itsuki stared at the ground as he said so-he respects Aizawa too much to call him selfish, but for the moment it needs to be done. Aizawa didn't reply a thing-words nor expression. But with Itsuki's quirk, he can totally understand what Aizawa is up to, what he's feeling but nothing much about why he did it. He'll need to touch him for that-that's how his 'understanding' quirk works with reasons.
"Tell me, Itsuki," he uttered, turning a soft smile at the chief resident, "how did I describe, Emi?"
Itsuki placed both his hands on his lap formally. With his memory, he can rephrase it the exact same way he did. "She was a reckless, loud, fireball, doing everything for her own pleasure," Itsuki uttered-the way Aizawa did when he described what Emi was like back then in their full-time hero days. "When she is kind, when she is reckless, when she randomly do things cause she felt like it, everything she does, she's an angel. For any given day, at any given time, you can urge to escape her ear-piercing noise but long her heart calming side."
Aizawa grinned, squinting his eyes, "I said that?"
"And Tsuki, if I was given a choice," the doctor continued-not replying to Aizawa. His lips doubting whether or not should he keep going. He muttered slowly looking down, "I would gladly die of her than ILD."
Aizawa turned a soft smile, "I'm impressed, how do you keep all that in this little head of yours?" he uttered teasingly.
Itsuki didn't reply. Instead, his hand moved to touch Aizawa's lap-pretending to pat him. But before he did, Aizawa's hair raised, his eyes turned red-his quirk activated as he knew exactly what was going on. Itsuki startled in shock as he slightly moved backwards. He didn't know what Aizawa's quirk is-not that they talk so much about him being a hero. But whatever it is, it's canceling his quirk.
"Don't you dare use your quirk on me," he uttered deadpan. He haven't used his quirk in a while-not the whole time he's in the hospital. Itsuki's eyes widen as he looked at him-concerned. Itsuki stood, as Aizawa refused to stop his quirk despite it drying out his eyes. "Shota-san," he stuttered, "you're sweating."
His hair fell down, his eyes turned back to black. Aizawa patted Itsuki's shoulder then he walked his way to the breathing machine-feeling his lungs weigh much more. "I forgive you, just don't do that again, my quirk got some annoying side effects," he grinned it off.

Emi was sitting on the lounge-her legs and arms crossed to each other as she stared through the see-through walls exposing the quite pretty view of the streetlights. Cars and busses passing the hectic street even at night-especially at night.
