"Ah Shota," muttered Ichika Aizawa-his mother who's sitting on a chair next to Shota's bed, "what am I to you? How long have you even been here before calling me?" she sighed.

Aizawa grinned, rubbing the back of his neck, "Sorry mum."

"I can't with you," she uttered looking down, "so much like your dad." She didn't mention Shota's dad very much if not at all.

Kenji Aizawa was a pro-hero back in the 90s until he died of a stupid villain quirk throwing a bullet straight to his heart. After that it's always been Ichika and Shota rebuilding their lives. Ichika who was a house-wife started working 2 jobs to pay the rents while Shota works dead hard on his study to apply for scholarship-which he get.

"Mum," Shota called, causing the woman to look up to him waiting for him to continue. "I bought you a house," he uttered, "and there's some money in the bank though you'll need to sign some things. My lawyer will reach you somewhen, I'm just letting you know so you won't freak out and start paralysing him," Shota grinned teasingly. Her paralysing quirk was one of the best back in the day. Despite her not being a pro-hero, the whole country knew about it. Actually, it was the one thing that brought Shota some friends in school-all the want to know about was her mum. Especially after his father's death, flirty teachers would reach him out just for her contact-which he refused for most times without being disrespectful. Ichika raised an eyebrow confused as Shota continued, "and you can use my car."

"What are you up to?" asked Ichika-her eyes squinted. Aizawa chuckled with his hands folded, "Is it so hard to believe that I got you presents?"

The women rolled her eyes although deep in her heart, she knew something was wrong-Shota Aizawa was hiding something. But she knew all along, not until he decided so will she ever gain a hint on what it might be. She knows Shota all too well to realize there's no reason to try.

She stayed there for a while longer to chat with him-noticing Shota being the talkative he wasn't then left the room.

Just before the door closed, Hizashi's face popped in as if it wasn't the most annoying thing Shota could've ask for. He was as cheerful as usual-although none could really tell if he was just trying knowing there's not much of a reason to be one.

He entered-not that he was asked to. He stopped midway, eyes squinted as he turned his head back to the door as a figure he was having a chat with didn't join him in. "Emi what are you doing?!" He yelled, "Come in!"

Emi who's still sitting on the same spot startled as her name was called-thinking whether she should run away or pretend she was dead. She succede neither way Hizashi walked out almost furiously. He've been waiting for Mrs. Aizawa to leave for a while now, there's no way Emi's going to wait for him as he planned on staying for a while.

One thing he didn't know is that Emi wasn't planning to visit as she sort of promised not to enter that room ever again.

She stood as the man lightly grabbed her arm walking her in. Emi pulled back, "I've got things to do," she lied-it's obvious even for the least sensitive person AKA Hizashi Yamada to realize.

"Just for a while, would you?" He insist impatiently, "it's for Shota." He emphasised 'Shota' as if knowing the old Emi Fukukado wouldn't miss a chance to stick with him for the world. She gave up, making tiny steps behind the blonde hero still doubting her decision.

Let's get this over with, I don't want to end up explaining myself to Hizashi.
