"B-but that's not accurate, right?" Emi stuttered, assuring herself. Itsuki sighed, looking down.

It is, he thought.

"You can't just mention some number," Emi uttered, her tone risen. She rolled her eyes. She was pissed at how everyone gave up too easily. Itsuki didn't reply either, staring to the ground.

BUT IT IS! At this point, all he wanted is to tell Emi the truth on how there's more to his quirk than just understand some shit. But it wasn't as easy as planned, he couldn't even manage a yes or no. Itsuki sighed again then sat up.

Turning his eyes to Emi with a soft closed eyes smile, he said, "Let's hope it's not."

...

As the night arrived, a group of the hospital staff was wandering around the hospital trying to find where on earth Shota Aizawa is. Including Itsuki whose shift won't end until a couple more hours. Luckily, the intern he's incharge on was good enough to stand the night alone-at least that's what he thought.

He rushed to Shota's room just after a nurse mentioned he was gone-not to him, to another nurse. "What on earth are you doing Shota-san," he mumbled, pinching the bridge of his nose, a hand pulling the door knob down roughly as he sighed.

He walked away, at the same time thinking where Shota might be in the middle of the night. Emi only left, he knew that much. She was passing through the corridor just an hour ago, this must be a plan after all.

"Itsuki-sensei," an intern named Ryuki called-confused why everyone seem so busy, "You're looking for something?"

"Yeah, a patient escaped if not kidnapped," he replied dryly, jogging to the main exit as he held the stetoscope hanging around his neck from falling off of the speed.

Only when he's out in the parking lot he realized something. Itsuki sighed before rushing back to the idea he had. He called out a nurse who's working on the computer, eyes fixed on a patient's record, "Ara-chan, did you see Ryuki?"

The said nurse looked up to him, raising an eyebrow trying to remember someone who she did not know. Even before she answered, Itsuki instantly regret asking her knowing there is no way she knows such newbie-not with her personality. "Ryuki who?" she asked. Itsuki chuckled before running away, he uttered teasingly, "never mind!"

As he was wandering around looking for Ryuki, another doctor called, "Itsuki-kun! Ryuki is in room 230-with the injured patient you're with yesterday!" That's his quirk-mind reading. Itsuki bowed at the man respectfully, "Thank you, Takashi-san!" Takashi simply nodded before turning his focus back on a patient.

He knocked on the door before him before walking in to the view of Ryuki with a boy sitting up on the bed with his hands folded together, frowning. He was shirtless, with bandages covering his chest all the way to the one side of his shoulder from falling off a building. But the purple-haired boy didn't show up to the hospital-not until he broke a rib or two despite his dad being the respected head of surgery.

"Toshi-kun, how do you feel?" Itsuki greeted kindly, a warm hand lying on the boy's uninjured shoulder. Shinso hummed dryly, "I feel like I can really live a better life without this thing on." He meant the bandages.

"What did you say cause this in the first place?" Itsuki asked teasingly pretending to not remember, "falling off a boat?"

"A building!" he corrected, rolling his eyes-it's funny how that reminds Itsuki of someone. "A hero got their limits too, you know? A training hero can do some rest at times."

The purple-haired boy sighed before rolling his eyes once again, looking away to the window. "None of this would happen if he didn't just leave town and disappear," he muttered, inaudible to untrained ears, "He didn't even say goodbye."

There's this thing about Hitoshi which Itsuki learnt from his mentor-Hitoshi's dad, on how the boy trained twice or more as hard than he used to and would come home late at night after long hours of training even on weekends-all that after his mentor left town.

Itsuki turned a soft smile, patting the boy lightly, "Just make sure you take good care of yourself, that way you'll make it far as a hero," he slightly looked down at the last part.

Remembering why he was there in the beginning, Itsuki asked, "Actually, before I forget, do you mind if I talk with Ryuki for a while?"

Hitoshi rolled his eyes, "Talk to him forever, I've been trying to make him leave he wouldn't go for a second." Itsuki chuckled. This boy, he could've brainwashed him to leave if he really want to.

Kids these days, how is it hard to admit when you're enjoying someone's company? The doctor thought.

"I will," was what he end up saying.

As soon as they're out of the patient room, before Ryuki get to say anything, Itsuki uttered, "What did you say your quirk was?"

Reading the situation, Ryuki replied questioningly, "Well, I can 'find things'," he muttered, looking up the ceiling with two fingers rubbing his chin giving him a thinking pose. "But you're looking for a person, right?" he asked, turning his eyes at Itsuki who nodded, "I'm afraid I can't do that."

"What about the things someone have with them?"

Note:

Hello there young listeners!
So you're still thinking of me, just like I know you should. I cannot give you Eri's quirk, you know I wish I could :)

Sorry for the slow updates, I've got so much things to do lately and my mum forced me to get some extra sleep at noon and sleep at 10 at max probably cause I look like an Aizawa. I don't mind though, eye bags are freaking cool! So yeah, I've got freshmen year, exams and some newly made sleeping schedule and a lot of unfinished fanfics. Anyway, I'll try to update more often, I've got a plan in mind :)
