Error silently left the room, Blue and Dream following. Nightmare was being held by Dream so he also came along. Error just didn't want to be in that room. He froze causing Dream to run into him. "Sorry! Sorry'' Error appologied. Nightmare questioned Error on why he stopped so suddenly. "Nightmare, we can make Sci fix the machine." NIghtmare looked up at Error in surprise. He didn't know if it would work, but it would be worth a try. The group started running back to the cell where Science was held.

"No! I'm not going to help evils like YOU!" Sci yelled. It didn't matter how much they threatened or pleaded with him, Science refused to help. Error let out a frustrated groan as he tried to think of some way to get help with rebuilding the device. He looked down in defeat as the guilt set in. He would just have to rebuild it himself. Error dragged himself and the group away from the cell. He was aggravated and decided to let out some steam. When they got out of the prison, Error went back in. He went over to the farthest corner of the Prison. Ink looked up and glared at the destroyer. Error just calmly opened the cell and stepped inside, locking Ink in with him.

Ink felt a hint of fear as the lock clicked shut. Error threw the keys out of the cell so ink couldn't grab them. He would just grab them with his strings later. The glitch looked over at Ink with his signature sinister smile. The yellow grin that always brought death behind it. Ink hated seeing that smile. Ink was on his knees unable to stand due to how short the chain around his neck was. Error approached Ink just before slapping him. Ink fell to the side, his balance being thrown off by the force of the hit. The creator felt helpless and weak as the destroyer pressed his foot on Ink's skull. There was nothing Ink could do to help himself. If he tried to fight Error physically he would just be killed by one of his blasters. Error pressed his foot on Ink's skull slowly putting more and more of his weight on the skull. The bone beneath Error's foot began to crack more and more. Tears welled in the corner of Ink's eyes. He tried his best to stop but the pain was getting unbearable. The wounds covering Ink's body stung with pain as more and more wounds formed.

Error took his foot off of Ink's head. Ink just laid there in pain. He refused to admit that he had been defeated, despite the fact that it was clear. He had nobody with him, or at least nobody that would help him. He wanted to be back at his base with Dream and Blue. he wanted to be their friends again. He missed fighting alongside them, he missed the hugs Dream gave him, he missed the puke inducing but slowly improving tacos Blue would make, he missed actually having friends. Error stared at the blank creator. Ink's pupils had completely faded leaving his eye sockets empty. Error kneeled down looking at the creator. "Ya know Ink...I used to actually give a shit about you but it's pointless at this point. I want you to experience the same loneliness I went through. Nobody will help you, your friends have abandoned you, and half of your AU's don't really care." Ink just sat there motionless. He was stuck within his own mind. Ink felt a pain in his chest as AU after AU began to crumble. He was confused, Error was right there. Error appeared to feel the pain as well. The quiet swear escaped Error's mouth just before he teleported away. Ink wanted to help his AUs. he needed to help them.

Error ended up in a random collapsing au. He was used to collisions like this. Strings escaped from Error's hands and began to destroy monsters' souls. He stood still as the monsters in that au ran away from the collapsing. He pulled open a window of code and began to quickly delete the code. He could tell over 20 aus were collapsing causing more and more to collapse with them. Error was used to the creator making mistakes like this. Once Error was done with the code, he opened a chain of portals. He jumped through the first portal and quickly into the next one. He hopped through the AUs destroying the aus behind him containing the collapsing AUs to not allow any others to fall. Error ended up in the classic universe. Undertale was definitely not being destroyed, he just needed a safe place to land. Error sighed as the last of the affected AUs collapsed.

Channeling his magic, he teleported back into Ink's cell. The creator looked up at the destroyer in confusion. He stopped the destruction..? Ink began to speak when Error cut him off with a kick in the chest. Ink began to cough as the black stained blood leaked from his wounds. Error never explained his actions or why he destroyed. He explained it to Ink once however he forgot. Not even Nightmare knew why. The only person who truly did know was Blue. Blue was his first friend after all.

Ink soon stopped coughing and looked up at the destroyer. He was trying to use his fake "I'm sorry" facade. Error, like Blue, saw right through it. He was unphased. Even if Ink genuinely apologized, Error would just think he's being manipulative. Ink thought about how he had managed to kill such a powerful being. Now he was on the ground, his life being sustained by the mercy of the destroyer. He questioned why he didn't just kill him. It didn't make sense. They were mortal enemies. He was on the ground helpless...and yet Error didn't kill him. He hurt him, sure, Ink couldn't stop asking himself questions. Error also questioned why he didn't just kill him. He wanted to stomp him to dust..but something was stopping him. As if something was tugging on his soul pulling him away from the kill button. That was when Ink glitched. It was a single glitch that caused his entire body to spaz out for a few seconds. Ink didn't seem to realize what had happened.

Being scared from the glitch, Error backed away from Ink. Nothing like that had ever happened before. Error always kept track of glitches in the code but..he never found anything previously in Ink's code. Black ink started to drip from Ink's eyes and mouth. The glitching that covered Error's body often caused him pain, not to mention the internal damage. The pain was just gone. Error's glitching was still there, but they didn't cause him pain. Ink on the other hand was in excruciating pain. What seemed like barely anything to Error felt like he was being stabbed over and over again to Ink. the mass glitched had caused the pain they felt to transfer. Error didn't know what was happening. He didn't cause this, nor did Ink. it must have been when Ink glitched. The places Error felt a dumb pain were the exact same places where ink was hurt. The pain was more tolerable to Error, he felt great. Error soon figured out what he thought happened. He took a pocket knife out of his pocket and slid the blade down the palm of his own hand.

No wound formed in Error's hand, nor did he feel a thing. A cut began to appear on Ink's hand as more of the black blood oozed out of the wound. When Error saw the cut on Ink's hand he laughed. "Holy shit! I can hurt you in any way I want and you can't do shit about it!" Error was clearly happy with what had happened despite not knowing how. The pain Ink was dealing with was nothing to Error due to his pain resistance. Ink didn't have the resistance Error did. Every moment was agony as he tried to not scream in pain. Error put the knife away as he grabbed the key with his strings. Once he was out of the cage, he saw Blue at the end of the hall with a smile that said "yeah, I did that". Error chuckled at the sight of his friend and ran up to Blue. "what's with the smug face Blue?" Error thought Blue might have had something to do with the swap of pain but wanted to let Blue explain anyways. He knows how much Blue likes to plan and explain things. "I've always liked to mess around with potions..soooo I made a pain swapping potion. I used the food chute in Ink's cell and set the speed at max so the potion would break on impact" Blue explained excitedly. Error chuckled before asking "have you been playing Minecraft again". After a few moments Blue nodded saying that he had. They both started laughing at the thought. Error missed laughing alongside Blue, and this time it didn't hurt! Blue soon stopped laughing before asking Error a question. "You wanna help me hide the cure's recipe?"

"Hell yeah!" Error replied. They both ran off leaving Ink in pain.
