Ink woke up in the trashed base. He groaned in annoyance knowing that he failed to find Dream. He tried to open a portal elsewhere only for him to discover his magic wasn't working like it should. The chip in his head was painless, therefore Ink didn't notice it implanted in his skull. He went to grab his brush only to find that had been taken as well. He reached for the smaller brushes only to lash out when he saw they weren't there. He had grabbed a vase that had been sitting on the coffee table and threw it against the wall, smashing it to bits.

Ink could feel the rage boiling in him. He wasn't even there to fight Dream despite what it looked like. He hated to admit his own team had turned against him all because of some dust on the floor. He was tired and didn't know what to do. He approached the front door that had been sealed shut with the purple paint. Ink tried to yank the door open only to fall backwards when the door wouldn't budge. He got back up and tried to get the purple paint off of the door. Ink's efforts were for nothing and he soon realized this. He knew he was trapped in his own base.

With no magic, Ink would have to rely on someone else to get him out. He went back over to the couch and tried to remember where he had left his phone. It was difficult for Ink to remember these small details. He grabbed the end of his scarf and looked at the notes he had written looking for any that told him where his phone was. He groaned in annoyance once more when he saw the note that read "phone charger broke, get a new one soon" followed by yesterday's date. Reading the note did help him remember where his phone was, under the jacket in the bottom drawer of his bedside table, but it also made him remember the fact his phone was completely dead.

Wanting to double check the battery, he got off the couch and started to walk towards his bedroom. He had to be careful of the broken glass due to the fact he never wears any shoes. He soon got to his room after a few minutes of walking trying to avoid anything that could hurt him. His room was a mess, as usual. Drawings and paintings scattered across the floor, piles and piles of filled up sketchbooks lining a wall, art supplies all over the floor and desks, paint splattered on the walls and furniture, and sticky notes covering a wall. Ink hadn't even trashed this room in his fit of range, it was just always like this. He didn't mind this though. While yes, it was messy, he knew where almost everything was. He would forget things occasionally. That's what the sticky notes were for, if he ever forgot where something was, the sticky notes would tell him where it is. He spotted one that said where his phone was and just rolled his eyes. "Could have been helpful a while ago" he mumbled as he tore the note off of the wall and threw it in his overflowing trash can.

Ink walked over to the bedside table and opened the bottom drawer. He moved aside several jackets until he found his phone. When he found his phone, he took it out letting the golden apple symbol on the back shine in the light. He attempted to power on the phone. He was surprised when it actually started to turn on. When the lock screen appeared, he checked the battery to find his phone at 5%. He sighed before going to one of the group chats between the aus. He watched his battery slowly drop as he tried to keep it short. He went into the group chat with the best fighters in the multiverse. Every character had a very powerful and keen connection with their magic. Once his message was typed out, he hit send. It was simple overall but explained the problem, not including Dream or Blue. almost immediately two figures appeared in the base. One of them was Geno, Error's older brother, but Ink didn't know that. The other was Stretch, Blue's brother from his au.

Ink was a bit surprised at the two suddenly appearing despite the fact that he had asked them to. He let out a nervous chuckle as his phone died. When he looked up at the two only to see a horrified look on their face. Both of them asked what had happened to Ink in an unplanned synchronization. Ink gave the two a confused look before Geno took his phone and went to the camera. Using the camera as a mirror, he showed Ink the screen. Ink was terrified to see the huge wound in his forehead. He hadn't felt the burns, the wound, or the blood that had been dripping down his face. His breathing got rough as he started to remember what had happened. He had forgotten everything after the thunderstorm had started. The thought of Nightmare being saved made him scowl in anger. Geno and Stretch were both confused at Ink's rapid mood shifts.

Ignoring the duo's worry, he demanded for one of them to open a portal out of the base. They both crossed their arms as Geno demanded to know what had happened to the creator. Geno wasn't aware of Ink killing his brother yet. while yes, many people did know, Geno just hadn't heard. Ink looked at Geno and started to explain everything that had happened, starting with killing the evils. Of course, it being Ink, the story had been slightly twisted to make him seem like the good guy. When Ink explained he had killed Error, Geno's face dropped. He fell silent and just opened a portal to leave. Geno stepped through leaving Stretch and Ink alone in the Star's base.

Geno had immediately gone to Fresh, his other brother. The parasite looked over at his brother and waved at him. Seeing how upset Geno looked, Fresh's smile soon faded away shifting to a look of worry. Throwing his skateboard to the side, he approached his older brother in worry. When Geno told Fresh about Ink killing their brother, his face fell to disbelief. Geno bagan to cry into his younger brother's shoulder while Fresh stared into space. Yes, Fresh was upset, but he couldn't let himself cry. Crying would get them nowhere.

When Geno explained the whole Dream and Blue situation, Fresh spoke up, "we go there. To their mansion". Geno was confused until he understood what his brother ment. It was somewhat to not hear Fresh to not talk in his "radical" style. Geno nodded in agreement as both of them simultaneously teleported to the Mansion. The duo were allowed to teleport into the mansion due to their relationship with Error. They both ended up in the main living room. Blue had heard the sound of teleportation and left Dream and Nightmare alone. He soon arrived at the living room not being sure what to expect. He was certainly surprised when he saw Geno and Fresh. Blue, knowing they are Error's brothers, gave them a pitiful look as he went over to comfort the duo.

The tree sat there for ages, Blue trying his best to calm down the two. Nightmare had felt the auras of negativity and alerted his brother. It was kinda hard to communicate due to his voice being worn out. Dream understood what his brother was trying to say and began to follow the path Blue took. Dream was somewhat surprised to see Geno and Fresh in his living room. Nightmare slid on the goop that covered his brother until he hit the floor. He ran up to the trio, getting the attention of Blue. Blue lifted the guardian off of the ground and onto the couch Fresh and Geno were sitting on. Nightmare tried his best to comfort the two, leaving Dream left standing in the doorway confused. Nightmare and Blue were able to calm down the brothers enough for them to explain why they were there. They had both claimed to want some sort of payback. Yes, they cared about the creator, but they couldn't just forgive him. That would be insane.

Blue looked over at the confused Dream that was still standing in the doorway. "Error's brother" he spoke. The two word sentence was enough for Dream to understand why they were here. The more he realized what he had damaged, the more Dream was filled with a lingering feeling of guilt.
