This is an interracial story, but a problem with most interracial stories is that they imply her race so much it's almost the plot of the story.
He's not going to call her "cocoa" or "chocolate" as a nickname because that's objectifying and fetishizing her. Jimin will not be saying shit like "I've never been with a black girl before, but I heard that they are amazing in bed" I don't tolerate anyone making a fetish off of the black body. Plus the main character, Sienna , is proud of her background so by dating Jimin IT IS NOT STATING IN ANYWAY WHATSOEVER that she is interested at all about integrating and forgetting her background.
Ps she isn't the only POC in this book. So it's representation of every minority in the BTS fam who are ignored.
