TMNT (Leo x Karai Leorai)

Chapter 10

Leo opened his eyes to find his arms and legs being held in place by chains. Leo realized that he was back in a cell in Shredder's lair where he was tortured. Leo pulled at the chains trying to find a way to get himself free, as Leo found it impossible to break out of the chains he looked around the room. When Leo looked at his left his eyes widen in shock and fear.

Chained to the wall next to Leo was Karai, Leo's mind raced faster this time of ways he could get out of here so he could help Karai. "Karai, Karai wake up." Leo said as Karai's head snapped awake.

"What's going on Leo?" Karai asked as she looked around the room.

"Shredder captured us I don't know how, but we need to get out of here now." Leo said as he and Karai both struggled against the chains.

Just then the door swung open and Shredder walked into the room looking at the two teens chained against the wall. "What is the meaning of this?" Karai asked angrily to him.

Shredder ignored her as he moved closer to the two of them until there was only about 2 feet of space between them. "This is revenge for you leaving the foot clan and for you this is revenge for you taking her." Shredder said as he turned away from Karai and looked at Leo.

"I'll start with you Karai." Shredder said as he walked over to Karai.

"No, no take revenge on me hurt me not her! Leave her alone I'm warning you, don't you dare hurt her!" Leo yelled as he struggled with the chains lunging forward at Shredder, but the chains stopped him from reaching Shredder.

"It's ok Leo I can take whatever he does." Karai said as she tried to reassure Leo. Leo could hear the fear in her voice and could see the fear in her eyes as she said this.

"Oh so you can handle it?" Shredder asked as he plunged his blade on the gauntlet into Karai's stomach. Karai let loose a scream full of pain as the blade went into her stomach.

"Karai!!" Leo yelled as Karai's blood dripped onto the floor and her blood dripped from his blade.

"Karai!" Leo yelled again, Leo then shot up in his bed drenched in sweat. Leo looked around his bedroom and then he looked at his hands.

(Leo POV)
"It was just a dream." Leo said softly to himself as he breathed heavily. Leo was covered in sweat it soaked his face, his arms, his legs, his shirt and his hair was drenched in sweat with his hair soaking wet.

Leo continued to take deep breathes to calm himself down. When he composed himself Leo glanced at his clock seeing it was 4 am, Leo decided to get some water so he put shorts on and went into the kitchen.

Leo filled out a glass of water and sat down at the table in the kitchen trying to calm himself down. Leo was trying to clear his head as he sat at the table. "Have trouble sleeping?" A voice asked as Leo slightly jumped at the voice.

Leo turned around to see Karai standing in the doorway in a t shirt and shorts. "Yeah I'm just getting a glass of water." Leo said as he tried to stop his voice from trembling as Karai took a seat at the table next to Leo.

"So why were you having trouble sleeping Leo?" Karai asked.

"I just woke up and couldn't go back to sleep no big deal, how about you?" Leo asked as Karai stared at him studying his face.

"Still getting used to sleeping here." Karai said as she continued to stare at Leo.

"What's wrong Karai why are you looking at me like that?" Leo asked.

"You're not telling me the truth." Karai said.

"What are you talking about Karai?" Leo asked trying to act normal.

"I can tell when you are lying and I want you to tell me what's going on." Karai said.

Leo relented , "Ok I've been having nightmares since Shredder tortured me and I had a nightmare that he stabbed you and I couldn't do anything to save you." Leo said as he trembled slightly from recalling the events.

Karai's eyes soften, "Oh Leo." Karai said as she hugged Leo and consoled him.

"Come on Leo." Karai said as pulling him to his feet and pulled him into the living room.

"What are you doing Karai?" Leo asked as he was continued to be pulled.

"Sit down Leo." Karai said as he sat down on the couch holding onto Leo's arm, Leo listened and sat down.

"What's going Karai?" Leo asked still not understanding.

"I'm going to sleep with you on the couch so you won't have anymore nightmares." Karai said as she got blanket and put it over her and Leo.

"You'll really do that Karai?" Leo asked as Karai nodded.

Leo and Karai made themselves comfortable, Leo sitting on the couch with his arm around Karai and under her right armpit. Karai was hugging Leo's waist with her head on Leo's shoulder. Both of them cuddled together and fell asleep.

(Shini POV)
Shini woke up and changed into her normal clothes and headed out of her room and into the living room to see Mikey looking at something on the couch.

"What's going on Mikey?" Shini asked as she walked into the living room.

"Look." Mikey said as he pointed at the couch.

Shini looked and saw Leo and Karai sleeping cuddling on the coach.

"Should I wake them up?" Mikey asked.

"No just let them sleep let's goi g Mikey." Shini said as she led Mikey away from the living room.
